Daniel058:The tax reforms will be the best thing to have happened in this country. When everybody starts paying tax, the people will become very focused on how their money is being spent. Na red eye they go begin look governors and council chairmen. It's long overdue |

Whois:Gbam !!! You took the words right out of my mouth. What annoys me the most with pengassan is that they fight the wrong fights. Why are our refineries not working....that is the battle they should be fighting, not fighting individuals who have made huge investments...confused and self centered bunch |

These Nigerdelta leaders that will be allowing outsiders to come and define and decide how their God given resources crude oil and gas is utilized. When will you guys understand that no one, I mean no one will ever love or care for you more than yourselves. Use your head for once. It is not about bragaddo, criminality or who be man, use your head, if you can't think properly and strategically, hire some one that will do that for you. I don't know whether it is due to intimidation or timidity or inferiority complex, or short term insignificant pecuniary benefits/crumbs that is disturbing you guys! They will smile and open teeth with you, but deep down their hearts, they don't love you one bit. They are all after that crude oil and gas. Wake up. |

Dey play. If not for the sabotage, what was PENGASSAN's contribution when no refinery worked before Dangote refinery. The new facility will go far if they can avoid PENGASSAN same way Dangote has avoided them Know this and know peace kenex4ever: |

Wow! This is a big plus for the Tinubu administration! The haters would still criticize the great achiever (Tinubu) for this remarkable feat. Let other billionaire-Nigerians join in this area as well instead of waiting for an individual to begin exporting crude oil only to turn around accusing them of being a capitalist and monopolist. PENGASSAN and NUPENG are already waiting in the wings to create confusion for this brave investor. Nigeria must better! Na just a matter of time! God bless Green Energy International Limited! God bless President Tinubu! God bless Rivers State! God bless Nigeria! @hotseat |

Image123:And building an export terminal is one of them? So PIB is needed to build an oil export terminal? How will crude oil be exported onshore? How will onshore export terminal work? |

NaijaphiliaBlog:Is there more to this facility, or is it this dispersed area of land seen in the attached image that is worth $400million? |

VeeVeeMyLuv:I have literally just echoed the same thoughts. These are the same people stifling all other tribes in their region, yet we allow them full access to ours. South South need to wake up. Niger Delta wake up! |

OP modify your title. This Otakikpo is not "the 1st crude oil export facility in 50 years". During last 50 years the following crude oil export terminals have been built and commissioned by NNPC JV with International oil companies in Nigeria. EA Engina Bonga Usan Akpo Abo Agbami Besides these, there are many FSOs and other FPSOs on long term lease by indigenous producers like, Oriential, Century, etc. First E&P streamed FPSO Abigail-Joseph barely 3 years ago at its offshore Anyala-Madu field. Yes, those are FPSOs where crude oil are being exported. NaijaphiliaBlog: |

Whois:I pray your child and your family will work in Dangote Refinery with the current condition of service with exposure to the hazards associated with a refinery. How can someone be working in an oil n gas industry where dangote is making billions in profit and he paying workers similar to what they pay people that work in a farm. |
