What did Peak James do in 2021 that Hakimi hasn't done?

Picking a fit James over Hakimi is your prerogative as a staunch Chelsea fan, but most unbiased fans of football would pick Hakimi over fit James both offensively and defensively.

I already mentioned it in my initial response that Hakimi is not getting the hype because he plays in the French farmers' league but all the time he has played on the international scene and on the European stage there's been no doubt about his quality.

You said Palmer was the reason we have dropped off this season and I said even with Palmer last season we were just as bad. From January to early April our play was terrible. Our late run to make top 4 and the club world cup final masterclass is what's giving Maresca a vote of confidence right now.

They just won the CWC.

However, having the best RB or AW doesnt translate to wiining always. A tre cannot make a forest. 4 good players can have their efforts undone by dross like Tosin, fofana, badiashiel. Sancho, Jackson plus Enzo that is neither here nor there.

At PSG, you have a complete eleven. So if James goes into that team, na crosses upon crosses you go dey see...which are usually pinpoint.

Defensively, James will floor Hakimi. In attack, James has great output too. Nice crosess, set pieces and free kick specialist also. He was also scoring often at some point..before inury slowed him greatly.

All this noise about Hakimi is because he is fit...plus he is in the best team where their style of play is to starve the opponent of the ball, like barca back in the days. So he is mostly like never gonna face much attacking onslaught from the opponent and he will always have the luxury of attacking.

James have never been in this type of team, yet he still shines.

I am not undermining Hakimis talent....But he is not better than our own REECE. Now? He is..before? NO!!!
