President Bola Tinubu At Wole Soyinka Centre For Culture And Creative Arts,Lagos by abc115(op): 3:40pm On Oct 03, 2025
Yesterday, on Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary, I was delighted to witness the rebirth of the National Arts Theatre now aptly named the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and
Creative Arts, first built for FESTAC ’77.

Once neglected, it now stands restored
through the vision of my predecessor, the Late President Muhammadu Buhari, and the commitment of the Bankers’ Committee and CBN.

When foreigners visit Nigeria and ride from Ikeja airport all the way to Eko hotel where they often have events, what do their Nigerian drivers typically tell them that we used our trillions of petrodollars to do? This level of poverty is unthinkable!

What sort of comment is this? Must we always focus on what has gone wrong, or not done, in the past? Can't we embrace optimism and hope for the future considering this occasion itself is a joyous and positive one?

Na wa for some of you and the way you seem to let negativity define your thinking and talk 24/7.

The National theatre, a pride of Nigeria in the past, had been long neglected and ignored. It's restoration is a thing of joy and positivity and I wonder why you cannot see this and only able to comment negatively.

Sorry, you are probably young, but I am not. I have believed NTA's lies for several decades; I am tired of promises. I want to see actions; I want to see total transformation of this country in my lifetime, and Tinubu lacks the rectitude and intellectual capacity to bring that paradigm shift.

Here we go again. Attacking Tinubu emptily. He attended a function at the recently renovated and now fully functional National Theatre, restored to her old glory.

Comment on that and save your negative talk for another thread where such may be relevant and even appreciated.

We still have to appreciate good and positive development even in the most bleak of environment/circumstances because that is what motivates humanity to continuously and unrelentingly dedicate efforts towards making things better.

They use to say whaoo! Nigeria has really developed from what they knew last time they visited. They do pray that may God continue to bless Nigeria, the giant of Africa. Our oil money is working unlike oil money which ekpa and his minister for oil and gas always pocketed without using it to send any Biafran for scholarships, they don't construct Biafra road, they don't give small loan to any Biafran except hijacking tri-cycles, motor and kill innocent Biafrans for Biafrans.

They use to end praying for Biafra a especially that may there be peace and remove hatred of anything Tinubu or Buhari from their hearts because once they are blindfolded by their hatred of Tinubu, even El-rufai that they once tagged terrorist, jihadist, body bag, Igbo haters will now become their best romancing friend.

It is only lack, lack you always see, but you never provided any solution or candidate that are more competent than Tinubu without sentiment. Don't just mention Obi or Atiku as replacement because majority saw them as less competent than Tinubu before they voted for Tinubu in 2023. You best lawyers did everything to prove otherwise, but failed woefully. If you have any of your family members that can perform better than Tinubu, present him to Nigerian for access ment. May God deliver you from hatred that has consumed you since buhari era. Tinubu remains your president till 2031, if you like keep wasting your time ranting, but that is the truth of the matter

You asked question because you never knew what they say, but we answered you on what they say, but you are denying it. If you knew the answer, why were you asking before? You can see that hatred has formatted your brain, you want to condiction us to carry hatred bag along with you, right? You better come down from the rooftop of hatred for Tinubu because I don't know if that is tour mission on earth. Your hatred of Buhari never affected him, he achieved all he wanted, married all his children to billionaires while you are still ranting online after eleven years of Buhari. Obi can not win 2027 election, Tinubu will win; better begin to love Tinubu as your president of you celebrate 16 years of hatred after his tenure

Kongi have refused to comment on the utter maladministration & bastardization of the Nigerian state under the rudderless govt of his kinsman.

This is simply because he has been maintaining table manners despite endlessly saying he will reject any structure named after him in Nigeria. Hypocrisy and bigotry are some of the vices no sane person should ever possess.

Always regurgitating the same thrash. Obi is not the president but is Nigerian better for it? Meanwhile, ask Adolf Hitler, Mobutu Sesoseko, Sanni Abacha and even the catastrophic Buhari that you lots venerated. Nature and God always have a way of taking care of proud and arrogant people.

And Peter Obi is the anointed MESSIAH that has the capacity to transform Nigeria? Abi no be so?

You can all vote for Peter Obi in your region but it is an unforgivable sin for me & my people to vote for Tinubu in our own region, because you’re smarter than the rest of us abi?

Keep dreaming and fantasizing.

It is a thing of joy.

But must your pro govt work extend to refusing to acknowledge the sorry state of our country?

Can you be paid enough to deny the hunger pangs of your children?

He also said he will assess the govt after one year. He fell silent. No one would ever have thought such a personality could be bribed.

He has thrown away his legacy of activism.

That guy is irredeemably the opposite of what his moniker says. I don't argue with him anymore. If he ask you the answer to 1 + 1 and you gave him 2, he will reply, quote that answer and still ask what the answer of 1 + 1 is.

We are not accountable to any foreign entity sir.

More on that, are you aware of the conscious effort of these gods you are being shy of to stall any reasonable manner of progress in African countries?

Do you get the memo on how BH was funded via USAID? Do you know why?

Good things are happening in Nigeria and that's all that matters. If you want to focus on the waste bins, that's your business.
