AirBere:The fact that i disassociated myself from pochettino after his 3rd game should tell you i wasn't wrong about him. I did that while you people were still supporting him. While Glasner might not be all that to you,the truth of the matter is Maresca's pattern is not sustainable and can't lead us anywhere even with everyone fit. |

andrewbaba44:If Vini at his peak could pick James ahead of your Hakimi that he ran ragged multiple times, bring another winger with 2 UCL medals, that heaped similar praises on Hakimi. |

airmark:Is this the best you can do? Answer the questions nah. So you are just realising the importance of a balanced team. You don't know the importance of Lavia when you were mocking a balanced team. Now that the board have listened to you and spent millions on attack, why can't we outscore opponents easily, not minding how many goals we concede? Both you and the board denied Maresca a defender when Colwill got injured. Now you are missing him. Wetin dey worry una? |

timbros:Whenever you engage your fellow CFC fans, I'll be thinking to myself "he's making solid arguments" but whenever you react to my posts, I wonder what happened to the same person. What part of I like Reece did you not see? What part of Reece has shown similar traits but he's a 6 at most of them where Hakimi is an 8, walked by you? The reason I'm calling him out on this matter is he wasn't deployed in his best position vs PSG. Shouldn't that count against him? In other words, he was made to adapt. However, Hakimi starts games being the manager's plan to win said games. Not do a job. To win it. 7 Up man, the difference is clear. |

Realtord43:Salty? Why una dey project like this? You're the favorites for the UCL & EPL. What more do you want me to say to prove I respected your win? I did. But I won't settle for fables like dominated midfield or superior tactics that some have claimed here. Leopard vs Dalmatian but you should be able to spot the difference. |

Android22:What is Hakimi's best position? Let's assume it's RB. Shouldn't it count against him, like James, in those matches he was deployed in RW or any other position not his best position? ![]() What is good for the goose is good for the gander. We are not 2 year olds here Oga. Make no mistake, a fit James is number one name on every coach match day team list. Just like Hakimi according to you, James start games being the manager's plan to win said games. Do you for a second think Gusto pushed James to midfield in that final? You must be joking. The manager's plan to win that final is James in midfield to neutralise PSG midfield 3 and it worked out perfectly. 100 percent. |

airmark:You should have ask me to post where you talked directly to Maresca and told him no defender for him. I have been asking you for days now proof where I said Lavia never played 3 consecutive matches for us and you have been running from pillar to post trying to evade that question. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by AirBere: 7:12pm On Oct 03, 2025 |
popizaino: ![]() You're talking about facts but no evidence suggests you disassociated yourself from wack/mediocre Poch after game week 3. Let's even assume you did, the appointment of Poch took us 2 or 3 years behind. You glamoured for a manager all through the season then you abandoned him after game week 3. Na so them dey run a successful company? Lol. I think Ganser will do well for United because of where they're currently are with Amorim. He can help them with a top 5/6/7 and it'll be a success because Amorim have set the bar so low. However, once United is back to the big time say top 2/3/4, he'll be sacked because then the standard will be much higher. Like I said, we can actually aim much higher if the idea is to change coach. Glansers style is not sustainable for a sustained league performance. I reiterate, I may be wrong so time will reveal alot of things for us as always. |

timbros:You're arguing like a 2-year old unfortunately. And I'm not sure I want to waste my time. Let me give you something to ponder on. Between Gusto and Reece who was better in that final? Use data to prove your point. Your time starts now. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android22: 7:17pm On Oct 03, 2025 |
When people were showing you that Hakimi stats are significantly better than Reece's, you claimed its because PSG are ultra attacking and have one of the best teams in the world. LOL. Perhaps, PSG are ultra-attacking and one of the best teams in the world because Hakimi plays for them? Wild thought I know. Perhaps, he has those great stats because the manager sets the team up to maximize that aspect of his game, no? Maybe your manager should be doing same for James. After all, he does it for Palmer, yes? Exactly. LOL |

Ibime:What about judging the player with his performance while he was fit? Why can't his stats while fit be compared with that of the other player they claimed he's not better than? Remember it was EmaPrince that boldly made the claim unprovoked that "a fit James is better than Hakimi offensively and defensively " We watched a fit James in 2021 and we disagree with Emaprince's claim because clearly Hakimi 2025 is definitely superior by eye test and by Stat. Android22:Come on now. Even a non Chelsea fan should know this. James plays as a RCB or an inverted full back cos of his fitness concerns. He's been struggling for fitness for years, so the coach has sought to protect him by using him in positions that are not as demanding as his normal position. It was only very recently that he started moving forward regularly, and you could see the outcome against Man U and Brighton. If you genuinely believe James is playing RCB or midfield because MALO GUSTO has chased him there, omo I dont know what to tell you 😂 |
