Make I press button.

What's the size of your batteries and the previous BMS that was used
Re: Diy Lithium Ion Like-minds by Sellfish(m):
This is my small contribution to the thread for those looking just to power TV, decoder, DC Fan, and charge phones..No inverter, no ups...just DC power straight to appliances....

I got a 19volt 32inch LG TV, an INEC 48ah blue battery and one of those 19volt Saiko 19/30 volt distributors...If you can't find the blue batteries, any 12 volt rechargeable battery will do..Lifepo4 preferably

The Saiko Distributor stepped up the battery current from 14/12 to 19 volts to power the TV..

Then I ran two different cable from the same battery which supplied 12 volts to both my fan and the decoder....Just to keep the decoder safe from overheating due to high voltage, I had someone run a 12 volt mosfet which stepped down the battery's 14.4 volts to 11.8/12 volts for the decoder.

Then I attached a female cable to a car charger in such a way that I could plug it into any of the 12 volt cables and charge my phones...by my estimate, only charging that way can charge my phone more than 30 times...

Powering the TV and decoder alone this way lasted for about 20 hours on a single battery charge.

Powering the fan alone lasted for about 36 hours with no reduction in fan speed...

Powering all together lasted about 13 hours

NB...TV power consumption measured by a watt meter is 16 watts...pics of the TV's model sticker, fan, and the DC converter is attached to this post...

Fan is an Itel 12-volt rechargeable fan....consumes 9 watts at low settings

I didn't bother measuring the decoder's power consumption because it obviously consumed so little...

I have sold the set-up due to relocation tho..but if for any reason I have to go off-grid, I will go totally DC... DC bulbs, DC TVs, Rechargeable sound systems, DC fans, etc...i hear there are even DC fridges these days....

Inverters are fast going obsolete for those who have simple power needs..They waste power, and are extra item to maintain and repair..

But if you need to power ACs, washing machines and other heavy household stuff with battery power, I don't think you can dodge Inverters...Very expensive Inverters and similarly expensive batteries

Yes it should

Reason I prefer Lifepo4 batteries are that they are more durable and have more depth of discharge compared to Lead Acid batteries

For home power generation, I think lead acid/deep cycle batteries are now archaic
