Kai let me tell my stories on federal government job purse till the moment I accepted my faith..I still believe God can change anything overnight and favour.

I first tried immigration (during president Johnathan regime) we paid for the registration process. The recruitment was later paused when the news broke out that the federal government is exploiting unemployed youths. When it resumed we were scheduled to go and run at the stadium lol. When I got there and saw the crowd it was mad and disorganised I had to gently go home. The next day people were getting news about scores that died.

Later I got a tipoff that one aunty in our compound get one uncle in Abuja with correct connection. Infact the aunty and her brother graduated with fedjobs waiting after service and started working almost immediately.
I begin follow this aunty like say my life depends on her.

Fast forward to Dss recruitment. After applying I was invited for writen interview which I went for. There I heard that all na was ,just find connected and govt figure to recommend you. A distant relation was a chief whip so I started pushing. The day I got her attention in her office I got a heartbreaking question "which organisation is Dss and what do they do" I explained..then I heard "oh I used to see some of them around I will ask so so to help me check"...I hid my disappointment and left. Went back to the aunty with connection she said she will follow up on her end.

The aunty later opened up to me that she is having issues with her uncle blabla etc so the uncle is putting everything on hold including checking for Dss stuff for me I just weak.

I continued applying for FCSC anytime I see it online but I know it's a no show. Physical application at federal character commission yet nothing.

Time passed,.naso I heard from my paddy that TCN is accepting CV. I sent my people to help me go drop CV. I called the aunty to inform her she said no p. TCN invited me...we wrote test in a hotel event section, those that passed were called out right there for interview ( 20) I was 8,after that they said they will get back...the 20 we shared contact none of us agreed to being called to start when we started hearing about people resuming....I was still following up with the aunty with connection,she said her uncle checked and I passed madly but slots where shared and he has gotten hold of someone with one but that the uncle wants the slot from this somebody as favour exchange as he doesn't believe in money for job. I just weak. Capital weakness. The TCN interview call up is still in my folder a constant reminder of my near misses.

Fast foward to Lagos huzzle. I applied for DPR from there. My communication with the aunty is now on the phone. She nodey carry my call sometimes. I did only CBT for the DPR so when I started hearing about people getting called and not even writing I gave up. The aunty stopped carrying my calls at a point since then. Life moved on

But I still get hope one day my own connection go locate me or I go locate am. May God come to our aid and give us what won't consume us and what is ours ,I know I will still add success story to this my job story one day... from 2013 chai

NORTH CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION (NCDC)

Press Statement on 2025 Budget Proposal

The attention of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) has been drawn to media publications over the 2025 budget estimates of the Commission presented to the Senate Committee overseeing the Commission.

As a new Commission barely one month old, the NCDC has commenced the process for its full takeoff with the submission of a 140 Billion naira budget proposal to the national assembly.

On 30th September 2025, the Commission's management appeared before the Senate to defend the budget proposal and had a robust session where members of the Senate Committee on NCDC scrutinised the submission and received clarifications.

After receiving explanations at both open and closed sessions, the Senate Committee made observations and adjustments before finally giving its approval pending concurrence of the House of Representatives before final passage.

It is, therefore, important to clarify that while the budget proposal of 140 billion naira was not altered, the allocation of figures cited in media reports do not take into consideration the adjustments made, which will be reflected in the final document.

The final budget approved will only be determined when the House of Representatives Committee on North Central Development Commission carries out its legislative scrutiny and concurs with the Senate, where the final figures and line distributions will be authenticated and released.

We, therefore, wish to put on record that the 2025 budget proposal is a working document which is still in process and, when finally passed, will operate within the life cycle of the national budget.

While the NCDC appreciates public interest in and concerns for the successful takeoff and implementation of key projects that will impact the North Central region, the Commission wishes to assure its stakeholders and, indeed, the general public, that it will operate in a transparent and accountable manner and also abide by extant financial regulations of the nation.

In executing its mandate, the NCDC Management will work closely with all stakeholders across the North Central States and FCT to ensure equity, and inclusivity by conducting thorough needs assessment and strategic consultations in developing its roadmap.

That is not true about SEC’s own recruitment. Workforce’s own recruitment was concluded ages ago and the list given to SEC. The ball rests in SEC’s hands. I heard back then that the Politicians wanted to hijack the recruitment as they were pissed they couldn’t put their own folks in.

I have been seeing requests about SEC here for a while and I didn’t want to say anything. But I know someone who was asked to come for documentation since September 1st and for her to resume the next Thursday after that in Abuja. And from what she said, she was like that the recruitment was over and that she even did her own documentation late when the recruitment was almost completed.
But hey! Don’t take my word for it. You can do your own findings 🤷🏾‍♂️ Federal government institutions are just a totally different ball game of frustration

It was hijackers and the delays were from NCDMB and not Testmi, the only thing exam companies do is just administer exams, submit those that pass, it left for the agency to decide who and when to call for Documentation and resumption, my friend that got in that set was called 2 years after.

Government recruitment processes even the ones not outsourced don't happen under 3 months, infact sometimes it's take up to 8-12 months which we have seen in the past in the case of paramilitaries and even self funded agencies don't happen within 3 months, wether outsourced or not, it's takes longer time, sometimes advert alone is 6 weeks, it gradually now becoming 4 weeks. These delays are not from outsourcing companies.

I know of SEC's own that Workforce has submitted list to SEC since.

Well i don't argue on recruitment, but then there's list yet to be called. Honorables candidate that were offered slots are yet to, not to spk of Presidency.

If they want to follow FCC guidelines, advert alone is 6 weeks sir, infact it might be longer sef, NNPC set of 2019 took 8 months even with NNPC standard where the recruitment money is readily available.
