Glamour, glitz, fashion, food and music will be expected. This is a good one. I hope this will become an Annual international Event and bring a new face to Lagos and Nigeria.
I hope there will be live coverage?

No matter who the governor is in Lagos, I think there's a template of pace setting that each serving governor always follow and would try to out do the previous governor.

This is what leadership should be about and something all state should follow

Bola Tinubu as Governor was better than Buba Marwa

Fashola, did better than Tinubu

Ambode tried so much, but had just 4 years

Sanwoolu took over and did things Ambode didn't do like the railway.

Next Governor should know he can't settle for less.

Unlike Ogun Stare, that previous governor is always better than incumbent. They take leadership backwards in some states in Nigeria

They have lots of money and also there's a template, that every governor wants to outperform his predecessor in office

It's a competition.

Fashola was better than Tinubu.

Sanwoolu did better than Ambode.

Next Governor needs to do better

Facts as per today. It may not be all sunshine and daisies in Summer. But it is still the Nigerian Center of Excellence.

Many other States have the riverine/marine potential to do something with and work with. They have not explored these. Delta, Bayelsa and especially, Rivers State. Their water ways aren't also very secure either.

@the emboldened. Yes, this is true. If you travel around Rivers State in their waters, you will keep seeing Marine Police stopping your boat and checking you guys to be sure that you are not an armed gang or pirates. But I have never experienced that in Lagos because its waterways are relatively safe.

Someone also mentioned that Lagos tends to have more innovative governors; I totally agree with him. It's not just about having money; it's about what someone does with the money the state has.

Misplaced priorities just to fool the citizens.
A country where 1⅓ of their citizens (not foreigners) are hungry and jobless, but na boat race dy una mind.

Well if they can do it in bbn and the same jobless hungry citizens love it, wertin cun be boat race.

Tinubu created the wealth his successors are using for the development of the state. The same thing he's doing right now in Nigeria.
