He said the mother of asaba is from Nteje, Nteje located in Anambra State Oyi local government, While the father of Asaba is from igala, Igala located in Nzam Anambra West local government..go Did you even listen to what you posted op ? Tribalism has blinded you to the extent of that you are beginning to suffer from dyslexia .. I am from Asaba and I am a complete Igbo man to the core. I will never forget the Asaba massacre during the civil war,where hundreds of our brothers and relatives were massacred by deception by the invading Nigerian army,simply because we are Igbos. May the soul of my igbo brothers massacred on that day(known as the Asaba massacre)by the 2nd division of the Nigerian Army,led by col Murtala Mohammed,Taiwo Ibrahim and Ibrahim Haruna,rest in perfect peace Amen!it was one of the bloodiest event of the unfortunate civil war,my heart still bleeds. Asaba is not an igbo but you speak igbo language and not igala yoroid dialects like the southern Delta of itsekiries, baba check and balance your historical references,yes they may have being some Early migrants from the upper Niger but language is the main connect to ancestral roots 7 Likes |

Ezeama400:I think fulani too dropped most of their culture to embrace Hausa even though they dominate the Hausas. Igboland was colonised by the small Igala ethnic group.Igala own Anambra even though Igbos have overwhelmed them with population.
