Replies highlight broader historical brutalities, including Arab slave trades and post-WWII border tweaks via plebiscites, reflecting ongoing debates on colonial legacies amid Nigeria's ethnic tensions, where Sani often advocates for unity and reform. See as them share ham like meats.. |

I just laugh at a lot of African who kept repeating colonial stories. Current African leaders are using these stories to kept their people occupied while they continue to loot the national treasure. |

These are the kinds of history we and our children ought to know, but it was deliberately not made known to many of us. It may be surprising to you that many of our parents and elders do not know this. |

Neo-colonialism is still very much Africa's reality. Meredith in his book "The fortunes Of Africa" write something like: “As the end of colonial rule approached, Europeans followed the old adage: ‘Give them parliament and keep the banks.’” Which means, let them govern themselves = "Independence" and bank means resources. How do they still control our resources? through meddling with our politics, sponsoring terrorists to cause instability, unfair trade policies, debt trap through institutions like IMF etc, Africa will never be independent without removing Western claws from our neck. Election is soon around the corner, it's not a coincidence that the killings of christians in Nigeria suddenly caught the attention of America. It’s not a coincidence that despite Nigeria having a vast arable land, we are still importing our food and exporting cash-crops like cocoa, cotton, shea butter, cashew nuts, palm products etc. It’s all by design. Nigeria has all it takes to be a world power but that will be a threat to the West and they will do everything possible to not let it happen. This video by Professor Howard Nicholas puts a lot into relatable perspective |

The same way they brought Christianity too. According to history Dum Diversas was a papal bull issued in 1452 by Pope Nicholas V that granted King Afonso V of Portugal the authority to conquer territories and enslave Muslims and pagans. The bull legitimized the Portuguese subjugation of people in disputed African territories and is seen as a key document in the development of the Atlantic slave trade and the European colonization of Africa |

In July, the presidency announced that Mr Buhari was heading to London for an education summit. The office also added that the president would also see his doctors for “medical check-up”. Coincidentally, Mr Tinubu, who had travelled to London earlier, was also receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment in the British capital.
