Black SAs were no where to be found, in fact i heard they were not allowed to enter in certain places, areas...
But why do black SAs always fights and deny the whites massive contributions in South Africa developments today huh

What can we really do as a black ?? Can we really have all this things done like the whites do huh Railways, Hospitals, Schools, Banks, Malls, Packs, Road networks, infrastructurals developments, Sports, World class stadiums, All other sports activities going on in South Africa today, Recreational centers, city planning, underground tunnels, underground railroads, Speed Trains, locomotives, Electricity steady, covered drainages and so many more....
This is not inferiority complex, this is reality on ground bro. This is not looking down on black people.

Today South Africa can compete in international sports competition today courtesy of the Afrikaans.
Be realistic bro....
Almost all other African brothers want to come to SA to live and work. Do you know the reason huh
Nowhere to be found? How can we disappear when we were a majority and a huge labour force? Stop embarrassing yourself, please.. and learn South African history, don't reason with the bias Nigerians have towards black South Africans. Black South Africans could enter anywhere with a pass.. So they would go to work as labour with the pass and then retreat to the "bantustans"

Everything you see in SA was built by the blood and sweat of the black man.. from the laying of the first rail tracks, to the mining of the minerals which are the cornerstone of the South African economy.. Nobody's playing down the contribution of white South Africans here; the problem is that you amplify their contribution above everyone else's. whereas everybody contributed to the South Africa you see today. including the indians that were brought from India to work the plantations.

What can we really do as black people? You gotta be kidding me? Post 94, South Africa went to an infrastructure boom where you saw multiple hospitals, roads, schools, ports, airports, etc being built, by the black government with black labour. What are you on about?

The stadiums you're talking about and high-speed trains were also built by the black government in prepation for the 2010 World Cup what's that got to do with White people? .. brand new power plants were also built by the black government alleviating our load shedding problems,, Dude, when things are failing in your country don't view other African countries with the same prism, some countries are surging forward in Africa, while you;re still crying over white people.. you have a defeatist mentality and an acute inferiritoy complex

Nah that is not true, there is a genocide against Nigerians over there. They hate Nigerians!!!
Yes, Nigerians are widely disliked in South Africa, but a "genocide" is a flat-out lie.. They would flee the country en masse if that was the case

The jacarandas are out, and honestly, it’s one of the highlights for anyone who drives the cities’ canopied streets. They add a touch of magic here that can’t be found anywhere else in SA, or at least not in the numbers that we have them in Gauteng province.

But do you know the story behind these blooming jacarandas? They’re actually not indigenous to South Africa.

They came from Brazil more than 100 years ago, Durban got the first ones in the early 1800s, and Pretoria followed in the 1880s. Two of the oldest trees still stand in Sunnyside (Pretoria) today.

When the Union Buildings (President's office, see last picture) were being built in the early 1900s, the city was also modernising its infrastructure. Old trees had to be removed to make way for new sewerage systems. Instead of leaving streets bare, the Pretoria Council handed out jacaranda saplings for free to residents. People planted them in their gardens and along pavements, and before long, entire streets bursted with purple.

That’s how Pretoria earned its nickname, Jacaranda City (picture 3)

Today there are about 65,000 mature jacaranda trees across the city. They all flower at once on bare branches, which is why the bloom always seems to come out of nowhere like a surprise. And while we might think of them as Pretoria’s pride, Johannesburg actually has even more (picture 2)

There are even rare white-flowering jacarandas near Jan Cilliers Park and Wonderboom if you know where to look.

The University of Pretoria (UP) alone is home to over 200 trees, some of which were transplanted during the Bus Rapid Transit project and are still thriving.

Jason Sampson, who heads the botanical gardens at UP, says jacarandas are some of the toughest.

Pests aren’t really partial to them, and so they’ve stood the test of time as an invasive species. They’re actually one of the few invasive species given an exclusion clause, meaning they can still be planted in urban areas. That’s why they’ve remained such an iconic part of Pretoria.
We should bring them to Lagos to add a bit of colour to Lagos. The city is just so drab and lacking in colour.

Like you blacks are building Nigeria. After rushing to have independence.

The only reason south have that level of infrastructure is because the whites stayed, designed and developed South Africa.

So stop displaying your ignorance, bitterness, racism and illiteracy here.

If you don't like the white man, stop using their phones, cloths, shoes, cars, Internet, buildings.

Move to the bush and settle their.
Don't be a hypocrite. You can't hate them and like their inventions.

Re: Reason Why Trees In South Africa Have Suddenly Turned Purple - PICTURES by Onegai(f): 6:07am On Oct 05, 2025
One thing I will always dislike about Nigeria:

We don't value trees or plants or open spaces.

Any small thing, bring cutlass and start cutting tree down. Increasing the heat and sweating like he-goat. Reducing Nature's beauty

Abeg, everyone go and plant trees and plants around your house. My home, we have lots of plants and trees, there's always birds and butterflies for my kids to admire and learn from. Lots of nice smelling flowers (White Jasmine), my son even planted beans that we're now harvesting (no more hunger grin)

COMPAQ:

Yup..that's why Lagos is so hot, we keep cutting down trees here.

A sensible city should do this: make themselves very residential and plant these trees all around it. A small city, like Surulere or Ibadan or Warri. Make your place somewhere families want to move to.

The ancestors of Africa had no books, what are you doing with books? I will take you serious when you stop using their inventions.

Not the kind of rubbish Wike and his APC government celebrate here. They construct few kilometres of road with open drainage, the commissioning ceremony will be louder than anything.

Nigeria is 300 years way back to South Africa.

Heffalump:
I believe these trees were planted by Whites during their colonial days in SA.

South Africa is what it is today courtesy of white men. Now, everyAfrican wants the beauty of SA, especially Nigerians. This is why we need to praise the white men sometimes. Not every of their deeds was bad in Africa. We were not capable of transforming ourselves due to our animalistic behavior.

You can visibly see how we plunder ourselves and take resources back to the white man country to help them develop further. Those that called for rapid and early independence of African nations are the greatest enemies of the black race. If our independence was right, why do we crave to be recolonized today?

So why is their city still developing even after blacks took over?
Oyibophobia will finish you all with this dirty mentality.
Appreciate them for what they have done and are doing... But to relegated us to the mud is really a damn nonsense thing to do.

These are my psychological reasoning.
Never seen a long piece of trash as this this year.
Kudos! For filling your head with junk, I say kudos.

I don't understand why they don't give credit to this Afrikaans (Whites) that made almost everything easy and beautiful for them in that South Africa today. Go to Jabourg, go to Pretoria go to Cape town go to Cape of good hope and many other cities in SA today and see wonder's this Afrikaans did, from beautiful city planning, land scaping, beautiful roads, buildings and soo many more good things. Can a black South African i mean a typical black man achieve all this huh Can we ??
They just have unnecessary hatred on this people, claiming they are the people that developed and built their country by themselves can you imagine!! Is it not the same South African Men i knew abi na another people. Give honour to whom honour is due. They just have this PRIDE in them which i detest a lot.
If i as a Nigerian you point out this things to them, they start insulting you, calling you a white worshiper and all manner of words.

Let all the Afrikaans pull out of SA first, and see how it will turn out to be in 20 years time. Congo go better pass am
