How will you be paying Diaz less than 100k at 28 with less than 2 years on his contract?
If they had given him a new contract with an improved salary,I doubt if he would have agreed to leave!

Cody Gakpo, Ryan Gravenberch, Ibrahima Konate that won them the league are all earning less than £100k per week but new players that have not won plastic spoon are earning 200k upwards, would this not cause tensions within the team?

My problem with slot is on the pitch!
He has totally ditched the pattern of klopp gengepressing for a more dutch possessive and slow buildup play!
It's may have helped him last season but this season has exposed that approach!

3 meetings between Maresca&slot. Slot won the 1st one 2-1 at anfield.2nd meeting , Maresca won 3-1 at Stamford bridge last season. Now the 3rd, Maresca wins again. And one thing was constant in all three meetings ; Chelsea played better .

Funny enough,this was what klopp was fighting against at Liverpool....The idea of trying to purchase players at all cost including overpricing the players!

arsenal fans at times underrate teams in the EPL, reason they hardly go far. Liverpool will bounce back and scatter that EPL table. As a Chelsea fan it's to early to say Liverpool are out of the title race, it once happened to Manchester city that they bounce back and win the league ahead of arsenal with just few points

A coach has a huge part to play in getting a player extend their stay at the club. When Luis Diaz wanted more salary, he should have lobbied with the board to boost his wages instead of putting him on the transfer market. If a player is adding value to your team, the coach should do whatever it takes to make him remain at the club
