The summary of this talk is that the journalist's demise is an isolated event, right?

So just as I want to know how many electricians it takes to change a light bulb...how many isolated events does it take to change the security....or insecurity narrative.

Because from where I sit hardly a day goes by without dreadful news, a lot of which does not reach mainstream media.

He had better call for a town hall to get his facts straight. Whoever is advising him on security matters is just a painter.

I am confused with this internet generation. How can isolated events turn to a whole city being unsafe?

Thieves came to my place like 4 years ago and came 3 times later, within 2 weeks, to the same estate. Does that mean Lagos is unsafe?

Kwara is unsafe. Ehen, we agree.

I am not in Abuja but blanket statements are beer parlor gists materials. Nothing more.

Even in the US, dem go rob you for street. Nothing wey you fit do.
See another one.
Your place has been visited by robbers four times over four years and you still consider it safe....normal??

Just how many more lives do you have to gamble with before you wake up to the reality that the next one may be the last.

And yes many cities in the US are not safe and are not worth living in. Violence remains an aberration not a badge of honour no matter how our minds and consciences have been dulled to accept it.

If you cannot keep your surroundings clean you will live with constant malaria as a way of life. But is that life or existence.

How can isolated terror attacks in certain states make Nigeria as a country get on the global terror list? Ask yourself that question and reassess what you typed.
Actually, if you read my comment, you would have realized that I said Kwara is unsafe.

No country gets on the global terror list by "isolated" events. Britain has isolated terror attacks but no one ever said Britain is unsafe. That is where your premise fails.

PS
If you have the time, check for the meaning of "isolated". Thank you.

Other states can burn as long as Abuja is safe...

Since Abuja is safe why is wike still moving about in his long security convoy? Believe politicians at your own peril

Nice one uncle wike.

Even with the distraction from every corner,he is still doing his best.
Ink know a person that doesn’t stay in Abuja. Just days after th Katampe incident we had a person killled in Kubwa and his kids kidnapped. We hinge are happening in Abuja. For the record Abuja already had massive infrastructure before Wike. So Abuja isn’t Osun, Tarsha or Bayelsa, people there really don’t care about politics

How you guys passed through anything deemed schooling without being able to read and assimilate before commenting is the 8th wonder of the world.

My comment:
My estate gets robbed. How does that translate to "my state" being unsafe?

The translation in your head:
His estate gets robbed. How does that not translate to "my estate" being unsafe?

Do you get the difference now? Why not just take a short course in "communications"?

Safe for drunk ministers not decent residents, an insult to the families of victims of armed robbers and kidnappers.

Another reason to take the 2027 elections seriously.
Can't allow reckless people govern you again.

Should we take wike’s assurance to the reality on ground?

I mean, they are entering people’s homes to kidnap and kill them, and this one is assuring us?

What a country!

hush it Mr man if u see truth talk. I don't like his style of politics but if na project he delivers. These two roads he mentioned I done see them with my eyes, work is going on there well.
Mr man, all previous government built roads and flyover. The road he drove pass to commission that project was also built by another government.... So you don't have to use road as a yardstick to ascertain what he is doing

It's painful how we trivialise an insecurity issue just because one soul or few people were affected, one soul gone can never be gotten back. And the way they talk about it while trying to water it down shows lack of empathy or compassion. It's a pity undecided

Ofunaofu:
Distractions he caused and brought upon himself like his refusal to submit to questioning over corruption allegations, the illegal acquisition of Abuja lands, his failure to explain how he acquired properties in Florida, USA and other places, and his refusal to let Rivers State breathe by instigating crises that led to the illegal declaration of a state of emergency, the removal of democratically elected institutions, and the imposition of an illegal sole administrator which have significantly derailed the state's progress, dragging it backward. These actions will continue to haunt both him and Tinubu for the rest of their lives, exposing how they thrive on impunity and illegality.

You mean as Wike's progress, popularity and achievements keep haunting you and your ilks both in the conscious and dream state.
