The proclamation is unnecessary.

He should stop moving with security details to prove his point.

In terms of infrastructure Wike is moving mountains in Abuja but he may still need to consult more on effective ways to tackle insecurity in Abuja. One chance has reduced but more can still be done.

Don't mind him. Abuja isn't safe especially if you living at the outskirt of Abuja. After the death of that journalist last week, I called my to know whether they are okay. He told me that they are fine and that it is those living at the remote side of Abuja that are affected by constant attack by armed robbers.

Let's not even talk about the menace of one chance people.
Just few days ago, a doctor was abducted from his home alongside his three male children while the wife is left with the last child and after some hours, the body of the doctor was dumped on the street while his three children are nowhere to be found yet. Abuja is not safe anymore.

True! I read about it.

Actually, if you read my comment, you would have realized that I said Kwara is unsafe.

No country gets on the global terror list by "isolated" events. Britain has isolated terror attacks but no one ever said Britain is unsafe. That is where your premise fails.

PS
If you have the time, check for the meaning of "isolated". Thank you.
Going by the definition of isolation that you are presuming, attacks in Abuja are not isolated. We are witnessing an increasing trend of coordinated attacks which are similar in Modi's operandi spread across the city from house break-ins to car robberies. The evidence is so mich on the news not too tall of many unreported incidents borne by residents.

You speak from wherever you are that the city is safe and I wonder how that is different from the armchair beer parlour gist you referenced.
Let's learn to call a cat a cat and if you don't recognize the animal, say you don't. No one will castigate you for honest ignorance.

Liar: Abuja is safe, and armed robbers just had a field day where a popular Arise News journalist and a security man was killed just a week ago...

First and foremost, I appreciate this conversation. I truly do.

And I also admit I am not in Abuja so I might not be tuned correctly to notice the crime patterns that you are talking about.

Concerning the news, I am removed from the everyday social media gists but I listen to mainstream news.

And this is where I noticed that it's the same stories that people seem to keep reporting over and over. And this is what I have based my opinions on.

I will end like this; I am not in Abuja and if I had been mistaken about there not being a crime pattern emerging, I duly offer my sincere apology. I am truly sorry.

Please note that I am still sensitive to the pains of the victims and I hope they find succor in their travails.
