When the Nigerian security situation is critically x-rayed, one will see the influence of external interests and it follows same pattern as that of Congo, Sierra Leone, Liberia and other countries with huge deposits of critical natural resources yet have afailed system.

A failed or weakened system makes it easy for these externals to quietly lay their hands on whatever resources they so desire without having to do so on the terms of the land owners.

My only fear is that in time, Nigeria may go the way of Afghanistan, Libya, Haiti, and other failed states.
