I have always looked at Mike Ozekhome (SAN?) with askance because of his penchant for fraternizing with people of questionable characters. If this exposè turns out to be true, then he must be sanctioned and brought to justice immediately. Those who come to equity, they say, must come with clean hands. Could this become the end of the road for the celebrity lawyer? Time, yes time alone, will tell. @hotseat |

crossfm:Looters everywhere, especially those who pretend to be redeemed saints of Oshiomhole’s Assembly of Past Criminals, APC. No wonder Buhari quickly agreed with David Cameron that he himself and all of us 200 million Nigerians are fantastically corrupt. socialmediaman:PANDORA PAPERS: Buhari visited Tinubu in corruption-tainted London villa acquired by Oyetola Governor Oyetola, a relative of Mr Tinubu, may have sabotaged his own country by buying the exotic property as Nigeria made to seize it. ByNicholas IbekweandTaiwo-Hassan Adebayo October 7, 2021 in Headline Stories, Pandora Papers Reading Time: 8 mins read It was a meeting of two of Nigeria’s most influential politicians in London – President Muhammadu Buhari was visiting political kingmaker and senior member of his ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu. In July, the presidency announced that Mr Buhari was heading to London for an education summit. The office also added that the president would also see his doctors for “medical check-up”. Coincidentally, Mr Tinubu, who had travelled to London earlier, was also receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment in the British capital. So, a perfect setting for both men to meet was created. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/pandora-papers/488537-pandora-papers-buhari-visited-tinubu-in-corruption-tainted-london-villa-acquired-by-oyetola.html?tztc=1 |

Goes to show how lawyers in this country become "successful" by fighting on the side of graft. Most Senior Advocates in this funny country would be senior prisoners in a country that works |

I worry for this country. There are corrupt schemes; visible and invisible. Schemes with and without government blessings and participation. I really fear for this country. |

kenben:Mike Ozekhome that has been a military apologist since Babangida era. He has always been Jeremiah Usenis boy. In fact in 1992 or there about he was Useni's representative on the panel that probed the Nigeria Customs and Excise department. This was the panel that changed the Customs uniform to the present colour and General Abacha's brother was awarded the contract to supply all the brand new uniforms. All this rubbish did not start today. Ozekhome was Useni's front and legal bag man far back!!! |
