Enough with BBNaija. Multichoice should give us another Ultimate Love, Love Island, Too Hot To Handle, Love At First Sight, BBAfrica [minus Nigeria since other countries envy us] or BBTitans (SA vs any other country or countries sans Nigeria). I’m bored with the Naija-solely format.

Comparing Imisi’s percentage with previous winners is like comparing an average derived from 5 to one derived from 10.

Getting 50% from a group of 5 isn’t the same as getting 40% from a group of 10.

Others had 4 people to share 100% with. Imisi had 9. Her numbers must be seen in that context.

This is not an opinion, it is simple maths. At least maths, if not simple enough
Copied.

Imisi's percentage is way above Lycon's own.

1. Laycon (Season 5 – 2020): 60.00%
2. Efe Ejeba (Season 2 – 2017): 57.61%
3. Katung Aduwak (Season 1 – 2006): 51.30%
4. Whitemoney (Season 6 – 2021): 46.52%
5. Imisi (Season 10 – 2025): 42.80%

7. Phyna (Season 7 – 2022): 40.74%

9. Kellyrae (Season 9 – 2024): 35.95%
10. Ilebaye (Season 8 – 2023): 30.08%
Imisi should be number on that list.

Others got theirs from 5 or 6 contenders.

It has always been cash prize interwoven together with lots of other physical packages.

Example, if the money is 5naira, a cash prize of 2naira and packages will come of the the acclaimed prize.

Cash prize refers to cash plus other packages. That means your cash prize is definitely reducing. You will be supplied with other incentives which i listed up there, and its coming from the prize money.

Nobody is handling imisi 80million cash!

The percentage calculated is not general voting percentage. You guys easily forgot that a number of people voted for a disqualified HM for 5 days.

You can't use a recalculated average to disown the superiority of existing percentages.

Nice — I dug into the official terms and public reporting. Short answer up front: Multichoice/BBNaija’s public terms don’t state the exact technical method (bank transfer vs. cheque vs. instalments), but in practice the cash component is normally presented/advertised as a single lump cash prize (often shown as a cheque at the prize-presentation) and the physical prizes (car, trips, etc.) are handled separately. Below is the evidence and what it implies.

What the official terms say (and what they don’t)
• The competition Terms & Conditions published by MultiChoice/DStv make clear that the prize is the prize as stated (no cash alternative, not transferable) and that winners must accept and collect prizes within set timeframes. They also say that where a prize is supplied by a third-party supplier that supplier will contact the winner to arrange collection. The T&Cs require winners to provide information to facilitate prize acceptance and say winners are responsible for certain costs and any tax liabilities.
• Crucially the T&Cs do not specify the precise payment mechanism for the cash component (for example “will be paid by bank transfer in one lump sum” or “by instalments”). They lay out acceptance, collection, liability and supplier-arrangement rules instead.

What public reporting / past practice shows
• When winners are handed their prizes publicly, the cash component is routinely presented as a single cheque at the prize-presentation event (examples: Miracle in 2018 was presented with a ₦25m cheque; Kellyrae in 2024/2025 was shown receiving a ₦60m cheque and an SUV). MultiChoice’s own news pages have also posted prize-presentation items. This strongly suggests the cash portion is handled as a single lump sum award (at least for the public presentation).
• There are also media reports of winners later discussing delays or disputes about certain prize elements (for example a past complaint about a promised BTC payment). That indicates administrative delays or sponsor issues can happen, even if the public presentation shows a cheque.

How to interpret the evidence
• Most likely scenario (based on T&Cs + historical practice):
• The cash component is awarded as a single cash prize (advertised as one lump amount).
• At the public handover winners are typically presented with a cheque or a cheque-style presentation prop.
• The actual settlement is administered by MultiChoice/its financial agents (usually via cheque and/or bank transfer after paperwork, identity checks, tax and compliance formalities). The T&Cs’ requirement for confirmation of acceptance and the involvement of third-party suppliers supports a post-win administrative process.
• What we cannot confirm from public documents: whether the cash is always paid by immediate bank transfer into the winner’s account, or whether there are any seasons where a multi-installment arrangement is legally required. The Multichoice T&C and the publicly available season FAQs do not state the specific disbursement mechanism.

Conclusion (direct to your example)

For a season advertised as ₦150m total: ₦80m cash + ₦70m car:
• The ₦80m cash is almost certainly intended as a single lump cash prize (not “gifts totalling the sum”), and historically winners have been presented with a single cheque for the cash portion.
• The ₦70m car would be treated as a separate prize (arranged through the supplier, transfer of registration/title as per T&C).

So in summary, you are saying dat the total win consist of only cash and car-prize?
Am asking please?

So the other packages, trips and supplies, they are not inside the total win(cash prize)?
Clear me about this.

Doesn't alter shit.

You can aswell change the 10 to 8 not even 9

She still has more contenders to face than previous winners.

Laycon that won with 60% was doing btwn 10-12% in the first few weeks when they were still many.

I'm sure by the time they reveal this season results aswell, Imisi will be hitting low numbers aswell cos of the higher number of hms in the first few weeks.

That just explain it all.

An average of 5 people can't be compared to an average of 8+ people

Simple mathematics

What's the prize-money win in this season first?

As in what was stated as the win for this season when the show started?

Modified: did you saw that thread where it was stated that big brother slash the prize-money to 80m this very morning!

Initially when the show started, it was unveiled as a 150m prize win

And as usual, the money consists of cash-money and other packages.

Therefore nobody is handling 80million-cash to the winner. Remember i said cash! Our focus is on the physical cash!

Thank you.

I really don't understand your write-up. Am not mocking pls.

Look at it, infact, firstly, did you saw the news this morning that i was pointing to? It said big brother reduce the prize-win to 80million.

Normally the prize-win na 150m. But it has been slash.

As usual in big brother, prize-win consist of cash and physical packages. So the 80million now is divided into cash and other physical stuffs.

Therefore imisi is not collecting 80m as physical cash. I don't know how much physical cash she will collect now, but its not that 80m again, because other goodies are still attached to the money.

I don't know wedar you get me?
