I Have Applied To Have First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, As My Mother – Gov Mutfwang

Plateau State Governor Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has hailed the Mother of the Nation, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her continuous support and love for the state’s people.

Mutfwang stated this in his remarks during the funeral service of Nana Lydia Yilwatda, mother of the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, at COCIN headquarters in Jos at the weekend.

According to him, the state has enjoyed the tremendous love and care of the First Family.

“The Mother of the Nation, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has twice extended her motherly wings of love over us both to console and to encourage us as leaders striving to restore peace on the Plateau, in alignment with our identity as the Home of Peace and Tourism”

Mutfwang further stressed, “Before my younger brother, the APC National Chairman Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, publicly offered himself as the First Son of President Tinubu, I had already applied to have her as my mother.

“And so, let me repeat it with all humility and pride: She is my mother. Our mother’s visits to Plateau State have endeared her to our people.

The Governor also maintained that the state should express its gratitude appropriately.

“While we are grateful for your presence at this solemn occasion, let me, on behalf of the good people of Plateau State, also thank you for your continued support for our developmental efforts.

Mutfwang also disclosed that the state would certainly ask the President to visit them again soon so that he can personally see how they align with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

If we tell some of these our ADC and Obidient friends that Plateau and indeed the entire North Central is locked down for Tinubu in 2027, they will start arguing and abusing us. Mutfwang will personally lead the campaign for Tinubu’s reelection in 2027 and the margin of victory will be so high.

He was speaking and acting jocularly to entertain the audience and not being serious. Why are most of you so joyless, bitter and humourless?

The home of peace and tourism.
The most unpredictable and sweetest state in Nigeria 🇳🇬 ❤️ 😍 ♥️ 💙 💖 🇳🇬.
Many people don't understand the context in which the governor is talking 🤔 from.
The APC CHAIRMAN said that he's now an orphan, the president should adopt him as his son,which is a humorously political statement.
The governor who's also an orphan has also sought for adoption by the first lady as her son,evident by her support and love for the people of the state during the multiple terrorist massacre in plateau state in may and December,2023 and also in April to August last year. She was the first, first lady to openly stand,support and identify with the victims of the terrorist attacks in plateau state. 1000 household were given
#1,000,000 each for survival apart from a lot of support and donations to the state.
She's indeed a mother. Her husband will greatly benefit politically from her kind gestures.

Mr joy, governance isn't a joking matter. It is a serious business. If the governor's hobby is to be cracking unsolicited jokes, then he should resign and join comedy content creators, or better still, Nollywood industry, and Mr Ibu is dead so he can go ahead and replace him.

Lol. The Northcentral is the most fluid region in the country, right next to the Southwest. No single candidate can win it in a landslide. If you say Tinubu will get some few voters that previously voted Obi in 2023, you will be correct but you are under the assumption that all the votes Tinubu garnered in the Northcentral in 2023 are intact. They are not. Infact, he has arguably lost more votes than he has gained. Tinubu won the Northcentral in 2023 largely because he was untested and had the benefit of doubt among many sceptics. Muslim-Muslim ticket was also a net-positive factor for Tinubu in the Northcentral (as unbelievable as it may sound), but now, it is not. Time is a gentleman.
