No Kwara LGA is under bandits, Govt clarifies.

We wish to alert the public to some reckless claims that nine local government areas of Kwara State are under siege by the bandits. This is totally false. No local government area is under siege in the state.

The unfortunate challenges we have had in a few areas do not warrant the wicked escalation and fake news which are being promoted by opposition elements in and outside of the state.

We have reasonable grounds to suspect that these elements are the online promoters and equivalence of bandits as they help to instill fear in the populace through fake news such as the unfounded claim of nine LGAs being under siege and movement of gunmen in parts of Asa LGA.

We regretfully observe that Mr. Peter Obi has lent his social media handles to spreading such fake news. This is not expected from him as a statesman. We request Mr. Peter Obi to bring down the post as it is totally false and inappropriate.

We also urge members of the public to avoid sharing unverified information, which may cause panic, confusion, and psychological trauma to the people.

This irresponsible behaviour is making things harder for the security forces who already have enough on their plates.

Are terrorists no having a leeway in Kwara state? Where is Yakubu Baraje in the same Kwara state who said the APC brought foreign Fulanis to help them win 2015 presidential election? Imagine playing politics in a state terrorists killed and have been killing Kwara citizens.

-Govt Hyacinth Alia in Benue state did same, it has not stopped Fulani terrorists from killing his people.

-Monday Ophebehlo did likewise in Edo state, yet Nigerians in Benin are being kidnapped and killed while he is chasing cultist up and down.

-Now governor Abdulrahaman is facing Peter Obi instead of deploying the resources @ his disposal to contain the threat in his state. Who do all these people sef. The don't value the lives of the citizens only their own.

That means what that woman said - that some people are sending her death threats to stop reporting bandit attacks in Kwara State - is true.

Nigeria is a crime scene.

Once Obi talk, the react quickly, but when it's someone from the North, they retreat.

Keep holding the mess, one day, e must come out of ur ass. Haha

You have been quiet since the attacks happened but the moment you heard obi talk, you felt the need to respond

Nigerians, let's move on with our lives. If they say Kwara is safe, then Kwara is safe. We shouldn't embarass the government further.

APC is an Islamic brotherhood party. They cover up any atrocious activities committed by Islamic terrorists just to further the jihad against Nigerian people, more especially christians.

How many villages and towns are under siege, even KWSG has warned that people remain indoor as security forces battle kidnappers and bandits.

Let kwara people speak for themselves.

The bandits are on pilgrimage in Kwara. They are not attacking anyone.

Kwara state government playing politics with their people's lives

The lives of the people of Kwara are being used for political games. Instead of saving lives, The APC government in Kwara state is more interested in responding to whatever Peter Obi says. The truth is, Nigeria currently does not have a government

Obi always blind to happenings at home but quick to issue statements for other state. Who cursed these people sef.

Monday is still locked down but it doesn’t concern him. Always cho cho cho in the matters of others.

This was the same thing they did with the Yelwata massacre. If not fpr VDM, Nigerians would never have known the level.of carnage that happened that day in Benue state.

Denial is always the easiest and safest action for a clueless government. Its very wicked to play politics with people security. Just inform people of security concern for them to be at alert while you strategise to prevent such incidence. Denial shows not only incomptence but cluelessness.

Show me someone from has ignored the happenings in their home state and pock-nosed into affairs in Kwara. Or claiming that local government areas are taken over by herdsmen.

That one is always waiting for negative news so he can run with it. The unfortunate part is he does so without verifying it's authenticity
