Minister of Works, David Umahi, and Arise TV anchor, Rufai Oseni, have once again engaged in a heated exchange, marking the second public confrontation between the two.

The latest clash stemmed from discussions on the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, particularly the cost per kilometre of the newly added Edo section of the project.

Rufai, who had questioned the transparency and pricing of the project during a broadcast, accused the minister of reporting him to President Bola Tinubu during a previous event.

“After you reported me in front of President Tinubu at the commissioning, you came on air to attack me,” Rufai said.

In response, Umahi dismissed the allegation, saying Rufai was “too small” for him to report to anyone.

“Who are you? Rufai makes me laugh with his high level of ignorance,” the minister said.

Dave Umahi though diminutive is always aloof and grandstanding with this coastal highway of fraud once challenged on the cost. feasibility, and longevity of the contract. However, he should be ready for future probe as far as this corruption is concern.

Rufai doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. You don't need to be an engineer to know terrains could be very different from kilometer to kilometer.
