U might be correct because someone sinister enough to set someone ablaze can surely drug the person too.....but also If u are fast asleep .....the brain doesn't react quickly in such scenarios....
....the brain will first translate real-time happenings through ur subconscious until you return to full consciousness by waking up....

Couple of years back I read all night for an exam, no sleep at all, so I was dead asleep after exam was over. ..rain started falling for maybe more than 5 mins or so, I ddnt know and my window was open and the rain was hitting me on the bed, mean while I was dreaming that someone was splashing me water through a hose........I kid you not, mattress and rug was significant wet..
