A reminder that any team that finishes second in their group and are not among the four best 2nd placed teams is automatically disqualified from the FIFA World Cup 👀

The current best 2nd placed teams in the CAF World Cup Qualifiers. Four of these best placed teams will go into a mini playoff and the winner will represent Africa in the intercontinental playoffs

Iis either Nigeria top this group or no world cup that means south Africa had to draw the next 2 games or loose both. Which is not happening Nigeria has to also beat Benin 3 nil at home which is not also happening. To me playing this remaining 2 matches is meaningless no wonder Oshimen say he is injured no need to come kill body in top meaningless games even the players that are in camp won't break a sweat cause the south Africa that started this competition will definitely win both matches y 17 points if we finish second won't be enough

We did not take qualifications serious until last minute. Three draws against Zimbabwe and Lesotho means we dropped 6 good points . By now we supposed to have 11+ 6 , 17 points . Then win Lesotho to make 20 points then a draw at home against Benin secure us 21 points.

There are two games left to play. In the world of football, anything can happen.

football has certainly taught us that many a countless time....The unthinkable can just happen.

I'm still very optimistic... And it's againt South Africa anyway,so there's no point in giving up now, ride or die things...

I'm expecting an upset. The pressure will get to them. And we will troll them so bad.

Even if we miraculously qualify, we then found ourselves in a group that has Argentina, Portugal, Japan. Is it this team that would represent us? Please to avoid premium disgrace, we better not qualify.

I don't like prophets of doom. Many people have never seen anything positive. It's always negative.

You can struggle to qualify and still do very well in the main competition, and vice versa. It happens all the time.

One step at a time brother. This post is not about the world cup finals but qualification, so leave the finals for now.

Yes the unthinkable can happen but be realistic please. Our chance of qualification is very very slim. No matter how well we play and what results we get, we still need South Africa to fumble which was very unlikely as their remaining games are small and they are even goin to play both games at 'home'. Our biggest chance was to beat them the last time and we couldn't. Let's not even talk about being among the 4 best second placed teams as that will not be possible.

what upset are u expecting no go get high blood pressure south Africa just need 4 point to scale through playing their last 2 games at home to Zimbabwe and ruwanda. Even Nigeria set desperately need those 3 points struggle to have a draw against them na Zimbabwe their neighbors who dey can easily neigoate that very game with na them wan draw or loose to? Ruwanda is still in contention for the world cup dey just need a point against them. Why Benin just have to beat ruwanda beat Nigeria to qualify, y in our own part we struggle to score goals that means we have to beat lose like a 6nil score line to boost our goals difference and beat Benin at home which I doubt and hope south Africa loose against ruwanda if they beat Zimbabwe

Best loser position gone already bro, the team on 4th position already has more points (18) than the maximum we can get (17). So our only hope is to win our 2 games (by as much goals as possible) and expect South Africa to at least drop 3 points.
