Good side of Nigeria is happening to me

A typical selfish rhetoric of d Nigeria political class,d question is which Nigeria politician and I mean having an appointment dat good criminal side of Nigeria is not happening and few others who d "good" In real sense evil and corrupt indulgence is not having a nice time at d expense of something wrong or wrong doings...
And don't get me misquoted that some of us prevelegded smart hard working Nigerians have more than enough ....by God's grace
But dat does not reflect d hardship ,backwardness,darkness dat d country has been plunged with speed of lightning by his excellency asiwaju tinubu

The second picture is flawed but unfutunately the average Nigerian crowd will see it as true. Nigeria started bleeding a long time ago and was only made very obvious during Jonathan until today. People died like chickens too during Jonathan's regime. Only Gen Z's or tribal/religious bigots would believe we were living in Paradise those days.

My own be say, if the ADC eventually takes over , make them no give us excuse say APC spoil am while trading blame game cos I see no difference between them and the APC

Good side of Nigeria is happening to me

But our economy hasn't plugged onto recession since the inception of Asiwaju but during the Jonathan Nigeria economy was in comatose according to Okonjo Ewela

Life was good under GEJ because oil prices were at record high of 108-130 dollars per barrel

Since 2015 January, oil has been below 75 dollars per barrel except for a period in 2021-2 when it hit 90-100 per barrel.

Nigeria economy is bad because it is so oil
dependent.

If GEJ had won in 2015, the same abuse we used for buhari would be used for him too.

Keep in mind our problem is resource dependency. That's why GEJ is tinubu with oil money and why even under GEJ we borrowed. Economies reliant on one resource cannot sustain good economics at all.

NOI was already predicting that whoever won in2015, oil prices would be a problem and the economy would be bad

Want to know how bad it is? Oil needs to be around 110-150 for us to balance the budget. That's the optimist idea. Pessimist put it at 140 and above

It does not mean tinubu or buhari we're and are good leaders. They had the option of diversification and industrialization. And cutting government costs..and dealing with corruption.. they did not take it.

And as for GEJ..the fact we were borrowing to pay salaries by 2014 December is evidence that the crash of oil prices by April of that year was affecting us badly..and evidence of failure of leadership

Most sensible comment I have read on Nairaland for a long time. We have been in continuous decline because of mismanagement of our resources and clueless leaders. We are not ready for any change yet because all the major actors jostling for power are the same clueless lots

There are many people who chose to be bad and want quick money without thinking of integrity

Some people come back from outside country to start some things from there exposure from the journey they took
