I believe Messi is next, would have wanted him here for the last time.😑😶
Congrats to Jordi Alba on a glittering career filled with lots of trophies. I wish him all the best in the next stage of his life.

Would have been nice if Messi, Jordi and Busquets retired at the same time. But I guess Messi still want to give another shot at the world cup next year.

Yeahh such a shame but everything that has a beginning must have an end.

We shouldn't be sad it is coming to an end, we should be happy it happened and we witnessed the era firsthand.

Hopefully, this current era and the upcoming group of players will give us as much joy and unforgettable experiences as these legends did.

And what is corruption about playing league match in Miami if the two teams involved and the governing bodies all agree?

Be aware that league match between Italian clubs Milan vs Como is also going to go ahead in Miami. Is that one corruption as well?

Real Madrid is a cry baby club. They commit the worst atrocities and then they're the first to cry to the media to shift attention and their gullible fans, gobble up everything without the slightest sign of discernment. Real Madrid don't want to play outside of Spain in the league match. So what is the issue if another club want to play outside of Spain? How exactly does it affect Real Madrid as a club?

The Spanish Super Cup has been played in Saudi Arabia for a couple of years now. Why is Real Madrid and their fans accepting that one but not the league match in Miami? Is this not hypocrisy? What is the difference? Is it because Barca is primed to earn more money from that?

Please explain what the corruption here is about.
You're talking about real Madrid being a corrupt club but it's your club that's always in the media for controversy, from Neymar's deal to the negreira case which you people are still in court for to the fines you people still have to pay UEFA for. Anyone with an objective brain can see how this LaLiga Miami match is a bad thing but not you Cules.
Why didn't Barca forfeit their own home game instead? How many Villarreal fans are in Miami?
Why did UEFA put out a statement saying how they have deep reservations about it but just had to concede? I've never seen a more brain dead fanbase like Cules. Tufiakwa.

abduleez1:
Baba, this one wey you talk no follow at all.

Why Una no dey complain about the useless yearly matches in Saudi??
Spanish superCup, no home advantage for anyone, it makes sense to play it in a neutral ground not a league game.

The hope is mutual...we hope for the best as always.

Well, it is nice to sometimes allow yourself to feel the emotion of the moment especially as a man.

As for me, I don't think I will be shedding a tear. Messi has completed football since after he won the world cup. There is nothing more for him to do expect to retire. So I have already accepted that he was going to retire sooner or later, a long time ago.

Your are very correct.

Retirement is inevitable,my main ish is,just like death,,I won't see a playing style like Messi's in a long while, just when i thought i had moved on from Ronaldinho.

Will surely take decades to see another.

You're yet to mention where the corruption is. Who told you Villareal fans are not in Miami? And why can't they travel there if they wish, since Barca fans are also going to do the same.

The two clubs are set to earn around 6M euros for playing in Miami, with Villareal earning a bit more to offset any lost in ticket revenue.
And I doubt whether La Ceramica which sits about 23K people at full capacity, can ever earn 6M in ticket revenue in any matchday. They will have to sell the lowest seat at 250 euros to be able to earn that amount, which sounds almost impossible.

So this is a huge windfall for Villareal and they're happy to play this match away from their tiny stadium and earn more money. Real Madrid and their fans should stop crying on their behalf.

Again I ask, can you mention where the corruption is?

I already said I didn't like the initiative. It is a potential new avenue to exhaust the players espeically as it is happening during December/January which is usually a busy period.

My only problem here is why you labelled it as corruption.

You still won’t stop bro? 😂😂😂 There’s not been any version of Rashford that could compare with Mbappe bro. Mbappe in his early career at Monaco was already made to become the next big star in football world. Rashford was quite good with goals because he was great at positioning when he started as a 9 for Manchester. And this picture you posted was when Manchester was even going through one of their worst season(as usual) under Mourinho I think. It was a miracle that they beat PSG that season. So there’s no time Rashford and Mbappe has ever been at par. Anyone who think so is just being delusional.
Like I said and I reiterate, Smiley emojis 😂 😂 won't help you. Most of the things you typed there aren't true. I'll break it down because I have some time today.

Your reply and others who liked your post in regards to my previous post concerning Rashford is the reason every man must do whatever it takes to win in life. It's the advice I got from my sponsor before my arrival in Scotland, November 2001.

It's not important that you believe but Rashford was indeed compared to Mabpe, and the evidence is in United thread, twitter, Facebook, Reddit etc. people said they were at par. Some even said he was better because he was doing it in a stronger league. According to the market, that version of Rashford was worth over 100m.

The game you're talking about, Ole was the coach not Mourinho and it wasn't a miracle at all. United were clearly the better team both legs. Nah red card save PSG life for first leg sef. That version of Rashford led United to second place in the EPL. He led the team to a 1:3 victory away from home vs Mbape's PSG second leg. If Barca made any attempt to sign that version, your club will go completely bankrupt.

But Rashford failed to fulfill his potential so it's easy to say they were never compared. If Dembele didn't win in football, people like you will say they never compared him to Mbape but he won so that agenda won't fly to anywhere in this universe. Right now, Dembele is the best player in the world.

Pedri was constantly compared to Puig, some actually wanted Pedri to go on loan until Koeman said nope. but Puig failed to live up, you can easily say they weren't compared. Youan Gorcuuf was tipped to be the next Zidane, he never fulfilled his potential so we easily say nobody saw him as Zidane's heir. Fati at a time was worth over 100 million, was a star at Barca and was compared to Vinicius, he didn't live up so it's easy to say otherwise. Had Fati fulfilled his potential, the story will be different now abi.

Whether you believe it or not, while Mbape kept his fire alive and still balling, Rashord aka black Ronaldo was once compared to Mabpe but times have changed and he's now washed that's why they celebrated his exit in United thread. He became a literal cancer there.

In his prime, only PSG/Madrid/Previous Barca could afford that version.

In life, in football, whatever you do, try to win but do so legally to avoid stories that touch.

Enjoy ✌️😂

Kounde was a good CB at Sevilla and early days at Barca. But right now, I think Eric Garcia has better conditioning and concentration level than him especially at CB. In fact, in this moment, Eric is more in form at RB too.

That's what I think....

I don't watch the French Ligue 1. I haven't watched Ansu play except in the UCL against City where they drew 2 - 2. I don't know what to say about him yet. Obviously, it's good he's scoring again and rebuilding his shattered confidence.

Nevertheless, this is the brutal reality of football and of life. Once you're not on top, or you received opportunities but failed to capitalise, you get overlooked and often forgotten.

It is Ansu who must rebuild his reputation and prove to everyone and to himself, that he is indeed a special talent who we all thought he was.

I also loved the way Monaco first and foremost, focused on rebuilding his physical fitness, to ensure he is in great physical condition to play top level again. They eased him slowly back into action and it's been successful so far.

This is just the brutal realities of football/life in general. If Eduardo Da Silva wasn't injured in 2007/2008 season, Arsenal would've won the EPL or at least finish second.

If Dembele didn't regain his fitness level, nobody will be comparing him to Mbape today. Some will even say they were never comparable lol but because Dembele won, that agenda is dead and buried 🤣 🤣 🤣

As a youngster both as a footballer or in real life, you have to make your opportunities count. Win in the end, period.

Anus Fati, Anthony Martial, Chris Eagles, Rashford, Renato Sanchez, Ben Arfa, Ravel Morrison, etc all had the potential to dominate the beautiful game but they just couldn't live up. For Ansu, he needs a serious rebuild to be taken seriously again. This is just the reality😂

Even with the Balon D’or, Dembele can’t be compared to Mbappe, in fact there’s no coach that will pick Dembele ahead of Mbappe in any team including that PSG

Yes very very true. Talent is never enough. You need to work extremely hard to stay fit and maintain momentum. Injuries are the biggest enemy to a professional footballer. Lack of hard work will not take you anywhere in life, especially in football.

I remember Alexandar Pato, who was billed to become the next Kaka or even better. I still remember the 1st minute goal he scored against Barca many years back but he retired this year at 35 after not fulfilling the incredible hypes he had going on.

We all love Ansu Fati and we wish him to recover his career. He is still young. There is still time. He can still make it and achieve his dreams but he must work extremely hard, stay injury free and continue on this current path.
