That's the pipe blockage most likely. Full soakaway will rather be leaking water out around the septic pit outside.

Only a plumber can fix it, it's blockage . roughly 20k can get it done here in asaba. You need to open all Chambers , you need a long pipe and you need to pack out some shit

I already opened our own chamber yesterday and used that long pipe of over 6ft to push inside the soakaway pipe but nothing changed.

I'm planning to confront my neighbor so he can open his own chamber let me know if they have used pad to block it.. I'm suspecting he might try to say that the soakaway is full so as to save himself.. but if he does then I'll call a plumber tomorrow.

This is why I hate living in a compound full of teenage girls. They know pad can block the toilet but they'll try to act like they're ignorant of what they're doing

Nothing other than blockage, get a plumber he knows what to do. But remember even if the plumber unclogged the chambers and your septic tank is filled up it's just a waste of time cos it will still block again so if it has not been evacuated pls do so but if it has been evacuated you might still have to unclog the chambers.

After he has finished his job I will advise you that to avoid blockage make sure you don't allow your septic tank to get filled up before evacuating reason is that when ever waste starts returning after flushing it means there's a blockage and if there's a constant filling up and late evacuation it causes continuous blockage it doesn't come in a day it's an accumulated waste which can cause slugde
