https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CkbZ_rHZwA Heavy rainfall has caused massive flooding in the towns of Ogidi and Amawbia in Anambra State, leaving several homes, roads, and business areas submerged under water. Residents were seen lamenting as the floodwaters swept through their communities, destroying properties, household items, and vehicles. Many described the incident as one of the worst floods the area has experienced in recent years. According to eyewitnesses, the flooding began after hours of intense rainfall, overwhelming the drainage systems and forcing water into residential areas. Some residents blamed poor urban planning and blocked drainage channels for the disaster, calling on the state government to take urgent measures to prevent a recurrence. While no casualties have been confirmed as of the time of this report, several families have been displaced, and business owners in affected areas say they have suffered huge financial losses. Environmental experts are urging local authorities to embark on proper drainage maintenance, desilting of waterways, and public sensitization on waste disposal to mitigate future flooding risks. |

Skip, skip, skip. It's not Lagos. Lagos government must be taught what to do and how to rule by people from places like this. Come to think of it. A certain bangladeshi ruled this place for 8 years and can sew us threads on X about how he is finished and new things are POssible. Hmmmmmmmmmm. People who see absolutely nothing wrong with him will blame the current governor here and of course, Lagos government for same situation. |

If the talkative guy has done the right thing for 8years,this would not be happening.. New Anambra of 7million people was not possible for good 8years,but that of Nigeria of 250million people will be possible in 4yrs |

Who did they vote for again? They should have voted Shinedu GRV. He would have helped them design Anambra well to avoid flooding. Now see what is happening. |
