There is no transfer of indigene sovereignty over any land.

The land belongs to the indigenes which is held in trust by the elected governor who leases the land at his own discretion for a period not exceeding 99ys which at any time he can revoke.

You remain a tenant and never a landowner whose access to the land can be revoked at any time for public use and peace.

When last did they fight war with themselves compared to those who locked themselves at home for 2 years under the order of some illiterate kids

I still wonder how and why some Nigerians can't see the trait in those people.. they caused the 3 year civil war in Nigeria from their reckless actions, killing leaders of other ethnic groups except their own Igbo leaders on 15th January, 1966.. we all know how it ended for them.
See Lagos too, Ghana, South Africa and now Niger republic.. it's a self-destructive trait they are carrying around.

... good remarks. Am feel sad on how Igbo manage their own affairs. It's no long ago. In a country , majority Muslim, during the fasting period, Igbo who lives in the country set the table o beer out during the evening when the host were breaking fast, thing went wrong, there was classed and many injured.
