South Africa, who were top with 17 points from eight games, have now dropped to second spot behind Benin Republic on goal difference.

Bafana will now take on Zimbabwe and Rwanda to finish off the qualification campaign, while Benin face Rwanda and third-place Nigeria in their final two qualifiers.


The Super Eagles will face Lesotho and Benin in the coming days.

"Can't" or "won't"? When you say, SA "can't" beat Rwanda. You're basically saying beating Rwanda is impossible for South Africa of which is not true

Benin right now is being coached by Rohr, who when he was our coach beat the current coach...when he was the Mali gaffer...at the last nations cup.

And we won't get top second place runners up...Gabon and Madagascar have taken two of the spots...and we have several teams ahead of us.

We should have beaten Zim at home, and South Africa last time. We did not. If we had, I would be singing a different tune.

What these coaches dont know is there are better reasonable ways to punish players. You are undoing your career as a coach and putting the Nation in a thight situation by not fielding important players because you dont like him or his attitude.

Win or lose, no team is unbeatable. That's why I say, if you say "we won't" it makes better sense than "can't" because when you say that, it ultimately means even if we play them next year, we still won't beat them because we inherently "can't"

I admire your optimism and patriotism. I too hope we qualify.

But the truth is I don't see this super eagles beating Benin next week, I can't see it.

The only outstanding player in the team is oshimen. He plays with his heart and so much enthusiasm.

And he can be the only difference against Lesotho and Benin if he's fit.
