Yesterday, a young boy driving a GLK was pursued by a group of men alleged to be police officers. In the course of the chase, they opened fire on the moving vehicle and sped off immediately after the shooting.

Tragically, a bullet pierced the front-seat passenger, who is now critically admitted in the hospital.

Since the incident, we have been searching for those responsible, but no police tactical unit has accepted responsibility for the shooting. They are all denying. (PLEASE TAKE NOT OF THEIR DENIAL).

If you witnessed this incident or have any information, please speak up and help us get justice and save a dying boy.

Besides, I have read and watched so many tales and videos of young men who drive nice cars being pursued by the policemen there. The entire state, especially the Benin-Asaba-Warri axis, must be something else.

Oga be careful, because you're also presuming that the shots were not carried out by the police, why not wait until clearer details emerge before drawing such assumptions, as at the time of this release all comments are speculations until the facts are released

I think you're insane, the Nigerian police has been doing much more than this, they operate with inpunity, Nigerian police that kidnapped, Handcuffed and blindfolded Very Dark Man in the presence of Banks security camera, some months ago Nigerian police shot and killed a school kid because his father was running away from them, i can provide you with links of incidents where Nigerian police has done much worse than this but here you are talking about defamation, that's absurd.

While there are many fraudsters in the state, an open-air harassment of young men is a very ugly policy to implement. Also, they don't wear their vests, and there are many tales and evidence to prove that actual policemen don't want to be identified as one. Is that how to secure a society?

There are long term effects of such a policy. One of which is that successful young men will leave the state for elsewhere, and there would be resulting unemployment and lack of investments. A society that hunts its native young men should not expect successful outsiders to invest and reside there.

This is not fair there are better ways to handle stubborn boys than to shoot them directly
