Extremely useless recognition

Over 120 countries already recognized Palestine prior to October 7th 2023 including Russia and China .

The only important countries in this Palestinian state issue is Israel and USA, without these 2 final approval, it's just a waste of time.

Before now, Hamas has been rejecting peace deal, Hamas only succumbed now because Israel is ready to wipe them out notwithstanding the pressure from countries shouting genocide.
Hamas keeps the war going when they refuse to release Israel hostages.
Israel will never abandon their citizens in the hands of Hamas in Gaza.

The world definitely needs peace!

These back-and-forth wars does no good to anyone at the end.

The families of the Israeli hostages rejoiced exceedingly at the news of having their loved ones back after two years in captivity.

On the part of the much-traumatized Gazans, it was joy overflow.

At least, hope now exists as a result of the ceasefire from continuous bombardments, deaths, starvation and unending cries of "genocide".

This two years of bloodbath is unprecedented in the numerous conflicts between the State of Israel and the Palestinians as almost all the cities in Gaza have been turned to dust and rubble.

If lessons are not learnt from this "Armageddon", then, it's most unfortunate.

When the terrorists group called Hamas attacked the State of Israel on October 7th, 2023, they danced on rooftops, blared the horns of their vehicles and shouts of "Allah akbar" rented the air, little did the Palestinians know that they had dared the lion in its den.

After all the hostages are finally returned to the State of Israel, Hamas would then have cause for a sober reflection if their dastardly action against the State of Israel was worth it after all.

If you think peace is expensive, then try war.

Live and let others live for a better world!

The historic and laudable peace agreement is a validation of the theory that influential leaders can create peace for societies if they so desire. Donald Trump is a Trump for the world and is worthy of emulation by leaders in violence-infested countries like Nigeria. Violence could have been a thing of the past in Nigeria if successive Nigerian leaders were to be sincere, nationalistically patriotic, and determined to end the menace.

Nigeria has been under multiple assaults of pain created by disengenuous governance that has presided over the country for decades. Despair, hopelessness, and grinding poverty have forced people to praise their tormentors in hope for crumbs from the tables of pharaohs! The unwritten, conventional formula for governance in Nigeria has proved effective and has therefore been adopted as a model. The formula is simple: impoverish the people to the level of dehumanisation to keep them in perpetual servitude. What a state!

The peace does last aslong as the US wants it it last aslong as the 2 parties involved want it to last.

Once A deal is set then its left fir both side to keep to the terms and agreements. The US doesn't try to influence a breach of this agreement by either side so how can the US be responsible?
