I love the different names given to this creature by different ethnic groups. Some names are so similar in pronunciation while some seems derived from another.... Nigerians are beautiful and diverse people but they can fight too much..... Lovely people looking and striving for the same good things of life.....

Venomous not poisonous. Besides their venom often cause pain, swelling etc not death. Though it depends on the specie I think

A hideous creature that certainly ruins your day. The pain is continuous unlike soldier ants with pulsating pain. The first time that thing stung me it wasn't funny.

It is called Lagaranta(for her specie) in yoruba or Akeeke(general name for scorpions)
