you are such a myopic...........islam teaches us to learn from the cradle to the grave.

show us where and how we enforce our ideology on others?

your gumption callow to the point that the content of the Op stone-blind you and it turns you to a complete blackout.
The school is an independent institution, you are sounding like a fanatic, what's so special about kids wrapping heads, fanatiscm has caused terrorism, bokoharam etc, yet you people are pushing it. Indoctrination is very powerful...you don't even care about those being killed by bokoharam etc, but your interest is pushing religious fundamentalism.

What is the benefit of a child wearing head gear, instead of allowing the poor child get oxygen...una dey funny I swear.

The ban on wearing a hijab in the school was introduced only in order to preserve the internal order of the school in accordance with the principles of secularism. Outside the school bans on this issue do not apply.
The supreme court’s ruling on this matter disagrees with you!

This hijab unna dey wear so e no dey tire unna, tufiakwa saw a muslim lady one time with a child on her back and she was putting on hijab and the hijab also covered the child, in my mind I said how is this child breathing, people where advising her to raise the hijab up so that the poor child could breathe, she did not accept saying it's there religion.

Because of religion you cover pikin with unna long garment, na waoo for unna....
Don't mind them, they are just inconveniencing themselves.
Sometimes within my compound, I will just be surprised that Muslim women that always cover their heads will open their heads when they want to have their hair-do.
I will be wondering after seeing there hairs, what is special in the heads and hair they are covering

The school is not independent of the Nigerian constitution which allows freedom of dressing.

If the child’s parents chose to let their child wrap her head with a clothe, what exactly are you crying about for? Why are you against it?

Have meet like 10 Christian ladie who are at alhikma university and they all wear hijab. If you can't respect a school dressing code why went there in the first place. There is a primary school in same ilorin that all there female teacher are eleha.
Same way a Muslim parents in ilorin will see that it's a Christian school yet they will go there and register their Muslim child and put ijab on her 🤔
.if they sent the girl away they will cause fight ....

Why can't they register the child in a Muslim School 🎒

For u to apply to a school meaning u are ready to abide by their rules and regulations guiding the school.

But illiteracy will not make them understand this

The school has its own rules, uniform and modus operandi, why don't you take your kid to an Islamic school?

Primitive character Nd behaviour has never benefitted anyone. Tell me the benefit of this your thread, except pushing religious fundamentalism. Are you from Arabia?

This is africa, stop all this, focus on progressive things and innovation, how can a grown man be pushing primitive stuff, this religion people have been practising it before we were born, it's made by men, they are motives behind it, enlighten yourself, and be free.

FIRDAUS3:
hijab is a concept of modesty and humility associated with women, it is for a Muslim women to cover their hair and neck. It is a voluntary act of worship, an outward symbol of inner faith, modesty and devotion to God.
it is the Quran's instructions for modest behavior and dressing, the hijab embodies the Islamic ideal of modesty (Awrah) Wearing the hijab is an outward manifestation of an inner commitment to worship (ALLAAH) and a reminder to embody the dignity it represents.
you can't give what you don't have, this is a school that belongs to the Government how possible some disgruntled element enforcing an act which is against what the law interpret.

The decision to wear a hijab is a personal one, rooted in religious principles and individual interpretation, who are you to tell us how to practice our religion? if your religion permit you to used the restroom and use tissue paper to clean yourself , what's my business telling you the proper way to clean yourself after visiting the toilet? you can have S*x with your partner and go to the church, your religion didn't say anything disregarding the action but my Religion guides my way in every of my steps and actions.
who the Fu*K are you to tell us on how and where to use hijab
No one is telling you how and when to wear hijab. It is your thing and your decision to wear it.

You can wear it at home or wherever, however, in school, especially schools that have uniform. They have dress code in that school and if hijab is not allowed on their dress code then that is the school's rule.

If your children must wear hijab to school then I suggest you should choose a school that allows the use of Hijab as a dress code.

Don't create problem and challenges where there is no problem.

You headlines should be, when are we going to learn how to strictly obey institutional CODE, CONDUCT and ETIQUETTE.

IF I COME TO MOSQUE AND BE EATING PORK & DOG, CAN YOU CALL THAT TOLERANCE?

many of you are ignorant of same religion you are following fanatically, go to core north today, you will see different women from other religions, all are in hijab, Christan women wearing hijab to church, ( in other words hijab not specifically for Islam women),.... nevertheless, if an organisation has a rule, that prohibits certain outfits , let us learn how to leave in peace, and respect such organisation's rules.
You have so many places, you can do same thing without causing problems.

After all, you guys claiming your religion is peaceful.

YOU CAN SEE NATASHA ALWAYS COVERED HER HEAD,YET SHE IS A CHRISTIAN.
The organization is not bigger than the Supreme Court which has ruled that allow those who chose to wear it to do so!

The one who not peaceful here, it the one who prevents a little child from entering the school premises.

What is the origin and purpose of uniform? OP should research that and it will clear his/her ignorance.

For other more willing learners, the uniform ware was meant to achieve the exact opposite of what OP fo-olishly/ignorantly advocates for here. It was suppose to close the social divide and allow everyone be uniform in appearance as much as possible. The issue of some overzealous folks, showing up that they have kidnapped an imaginary being called god or prophet, so therefore can supremely interpret the words of the god/prophet, is laughable at best. What makes you more mislim than someone from Abia or Delta with contradicting views?

Is the school violating the supreme court’s ruling on this matter?

Imagine if everyone start wearing different headgear in the name of religions...we have hundreds of religions...how will the school look?

Sometimes religion makes people shortsighted.

Nigeria is in this predicament of insecurity because of religious fundamentalism...I have never seen you people create threads on how to defeat bokoharam, but only create threads in pushing the same religious fundamentalism that bokoharam stands for.

Can you share the Supreme Court ruling with reference to the court order or quote of the extracts so we can study it.

Would you allow a non Muslim walk into your mosque with his shoes and with a chair to sit and listen to your sermon?

Please give me a honest answer to the question.

My point is why are pushing ideology of Saudi Arabia in Africa, or are you not African, born in Africa, your forebears are they not African?

Why pushing a narrative set out to use to conquer you, religion is practiced with sense.

Look at the North today, millions of almajiri kids indoctrinated, covering heads in poverty, begging...what is the benefit of that. Your life is more meaningful when you contribute meaningfully to society, these religious dogmas have no real benefits to society...with all the sharia in the north, the youths there are more corrupt, and engage in vices even more than is obtainable in the south...do things that benefit your fellow man, this thread has no value. I can't be researching on things that have no benefit to society, it's absurd to me that of all the problems in Nigeria, this is what you choose to talk about, not advise people about bokoharam and iswap killings in the north, instead you are pushing for more religious fundamentalism.

that judgement should be contested, the case revisited, the judgement is not sound.

THE TRUTH IS THAT

Muslims living with Hindus = Problem.
Muslims living with Buddhists = Problem.
Muslims living with Christians = Problem.
Muslims living with Jews = Problem.
Muslims living with Sikhs = Problem
Muslims living with Baha’is = Problem.
Muslims living with Shintos = Problem.
Muslims living with Atheists = Problem.
Muslims living with Muslims = Big Problem.

This led to:

They’re not happy in Gaza.
They’re not happy in Egypt.
They’re not happy in Libya.
They’re not happy in Morocco.
They’re not happy in Iran.
They’re not happy in Iraq.
They’re not happy in Yemen.
They’re not happy in Afghanistan.
They’re not happy in Pakistan.
They’re not happy in Syria.
They’re not happy in Lebanon.
They’re not happy in Nigeria.
They’re not happy in Kenya.
They’re not happy in Sudan.

Where are they happy?
They’re happy in Australia.
They’re happy in England.
They’re happy in Belgium.
They’re happy in France.
They’re happy in Italy.
They’re happy in Germany.
They’re happy in Sweden.
They’re happy in the USA and Canada.
They’re happy in Norway and India.
They’re happy in almost every country that is not Islamic.
Whom do they blame? Not Islam. Not their leadership. Not themselves.

They blame the countries they are happy in.
They want to change the countries they’re happy in, to be like the countries they came from where they were unhappy.

I’m actually surprised you are asking this question. Most of you spend your data following BBN Nija. You are not current about important information you need in your life for your education.
This Supreme Court happened since 2022

Okay let me spoon feed you as you want

⚖️ Case Background
• Case Name: Lagos State Government & Ors. vs Asiyat AbdulKareem & Ors. (Suit number SC/910/16)
• Students (represented by Muslim Students’ Society etc.) challenged the ban on wearing hijab in public primary and secondary schools in Lagos.
• Earlier lower court (Lagos High Court) had upheld the ban; Court of Appeal in 2016 overturned that and ruled the ban was discriminatory.

You can track the case yourself
