We suppose read all this English because of this match 😁😁
Reference:
Call it whatever you wish but this match, this qualifying session has further proven the decline of this country and not just on economic and social fronts. We are well below where we should be. Such that even with more slot we still cannot make the world cup.

It is clear that other actions and not just the developed ones but our fellow African countries have caught up and overtaken us.

My appeal to all Nigerians ia to wake up from the slumber which is primarily ethnicity.and tribal conflicting and let us start to build a proper nation. Because we are at the races the grand prix of global development with a blown engine, an engine having dysfunction cylinders.

Because when we isolate certain nationals, marginalise parts of our populace we are effectively fighting ourselves and limiting our ability to build a nation. It affects everything....our beloved pastime included.

I don't understand whats going on with our coaching. Why is our defence so deep against this kind of a team?

There is no chance for playoffs, only four teams can qualify for playoffs the last time I checked about four second places teams are already on 19 point, Nigeria can only get to 17 points that's if they win both games.
Eritrea case is there

See our formation. The coach is definitely out of ideas. Since to score goals na wahala everybody go mad today huh
It is a pressing formation design for a quick counter attack and maximised the chance.
Oshimen, Moses and Lookman with make a run for the pass at the same time

Zimbabwe hosting South Africa in south Africa is wrong. South Africa is not the only country sharing boundary with Zimbabwe. South Africa played Lesotho home and away in south Africa and same with Zimbabwe. See cheating na
How many games did Nigeria win at home?

We badly need pan Nigeria solidarity.
Unfortunately that happens when you and/or your forefathers created a nation or with bloodshed fought for independence…. Not allow white people to come and create and name a country with fake borders for you…and then “grant you “ permission to pretend to be independent….

There is no dominant or united value system that can lead to unity….. unfortunately

I'm currently watching the Zimbabwe vs South African game and to be honest, it would take a miracle for Zimbabwe to defeat them.

South Africa is dominating the game.
What do you expect when Zimbabwe's home match against South Africa is being played in South Africa?

These boys should not just vex me today. There is still hope for qualification if we win our remaining two games through the play offs. They better start scoring o

The national team began to whittle away since they covertly introduced Federal character. Now, it's more like there's a rule that all the major ethnic groups must be duly represented in the team. Look at the two full backs. Who are they and what have they done to earn a place in the team. Imagine having a player that plays for the bottom team in the Belgian league.

Same thing that's currently happening to BBN, where instead of focusing on people who will guarantee entertainment, they want to make sure they placate all demography and tick all boxes.

As long as merit is not applied in these circles, Nigeria will continue to suffer.

It would be more easier for south Africa to lose to Zimbabwe away from home than to loose to Rwanda at home when all they need is a draw to qualify for the world cup.

We need them to loose today for us to stand a chance.
Zimbabwe and Lesotho plays there home and away matches in south Africa. Technically south Africa have played most of their matches in south Africa

Update from other matches.

Benin is playing 0-0 with Rwanda

South Africa is playing 0-0 with Zimbabwe

Nigeria still hasn't found the net against Lesotho.

100%. Our football is a reflection of where we are as a nation.

Before this game, Benin were on 14 points with +4 goals

South Africa were on 14 points with +2 goals

Wining by a goal margin wouldn't help us.

We are playing big man football. The players are just strolling on the pitch. Nobody is making 1-2 passes and running at the opponents.
They'd better wake up in 2nd half.

This Nigerian team is dross. Really.

Is this what they plan to play against the European and South American teams at the world cup?

Do the Nigerian full backs even understand the concept of overlapping?

And what's with the many useless sky high crosses?
