Kalulu44:South Africa on paper might beat Rwanda thus condemning us to 2nd position if we defeat Benin Republic. From the playoffs adjusted points viewpoint, Madagascar will not Beat Mali in Mali Uganda will not beat Algeria in Algeria. The Joker will be Burkina Faso vs Ethiopia which will definitely end in favour of Burkina Faso. The Burkinabe are currently on 12 points with +4 goals difference. If we win 4:0 and end on an actual total of 17pts we will have an adjusted total of 15points +7goals to sneak into the playoff position. Our only saving grace should be a Rwanda win and our win over Benin Republic.. |

Solofresh2:bro is not open anything! Is not in our hands we are relying on ruwanda. But as it stands south Africa are relying on us to advance which is a reality and possible because we still have hope but is ruwanda having any hope? Benin just even need a point. So out of the 3 now our chances slim pass bro. |

Apcshit:You're very wrong, why did you use such nasty words against him? If he was in Nigeria would you people give him the chance to play? At least he is playing and fulfilling his life ambition. Many Nigerians dumped the country to play for other because of the corruption and mediocrity, i do pray for him to make it bigger in his career endeavors |

Kalulu44:In FIFA competition and qualifiers like this when two teams are tied on points, goals difference comes first, number of goals scored second. |
| Re: Lesotho Vs Nigeria: 2026 World Cup Qualifiers (1 - 2) On 10th Oct 2025 by achorladey: 8:53pm On Oct 10, 2025 |
Kalulu44:Two goals needed. No head to head here. It will be decided on goals difference first then number of goals scored in total throughout the qualifiers second. |
| Re: Lesotho Vs Nigeria: 2026 World Cup Qualifiers (1 - 2) On 10th Oct 2025 by Freshtruth(m): 8:53pm On Oct 10, 2025 |
Kalulu44:No dey deceive urself during the match d coach dey ginger d players to go for more goals even the commentator said it . This ur head to head rules I no kw were u see. Am I the only time we ever use head to head was in 2006 world cup which Angola qualifies. Since then we have been on goals. Bro. Our chances of advancing is very slim |

YesDaddyTill203:You just expressed one of our biggest problems. We read books, and willy-nilly implement ideas, without considering special circumstances. The United States was already an economic Juggernaut. The great deal was designed to inject money into the economy to make people spend money. First, if injecting money into the economy was Tinubu's intention, why did Tinubu introduce policies that created austerity measures? Tinubu's policies made basic commodities so expensive and affordable, to the extreme that people can barely afford basic, survival items? How does this situation inject money into the economy? That is eminently contradictory. Second, what are you producing that people are going to buy to stimulate the economy? This is why Nigerians become humbled when they come abroad, and realize that all the things they think they know are utter rubbish. The only people who will benefit from the construction projects are Tinubu and his corrupt group, who will have kickbacks deposited into their foreign accounts. Is that not the reason Wike is maniacally building Abuja. What difference has all that construction done to Nigeria's economy? No number of road can appreciate value of Naira! Most of the projects would not be completed, anyway. Employments created by construction projects are FINITE, temporary jobs, which last until the project is finished or abandoned. Construction projects do not create SUSTAINABLE and QUALITY employments. Even if they create jobs, they do not help diversify the economy, earn foreign exchange revenue, raise the value of the local currency, rescue the economy from dangerous dependence on one major export, or initiate massive industrialization. We need to produce! On a massive scale. We already have the funds. Later, Tinubu would fly around to looking for investors to invest $12 billion in Nigeria's economy, when he himself is spending $100 billion on bullet train and road projects. You already had the funds, the minerals and natural resources and vibrant population, to manufacture on a massive, INDUSTRIAL scale, and have ALL Nigerians working. I say ALL because anyone who wants a job here in Canada, US and other Advanced Nations will find it. People come from all over the world, and find work. Do you think it's miracle? |

cr7lomo:First of, do I thought that Southy will beat Zimbabwe who have both to play for and you can see the result so never right off Rwanda shocking them. Secondly we only need to beat Benin 1 nil if SA mess their chances up. And you know why, bcus there’s still head to head rules in fifa competitions. Benin beat us 2-1 in their home and 1 nil against them will give us away goals to make the head to head come into place. Shey you get it |

There is a strong likelihood that two or even three teams will finish with the same number of points in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. With four matchdays left in the qualification campaign, the race for World Cup spots is reaching fever pitch. Here are the 8 criteria established by the African Football Federation (FIFA) to separate teams that are level on points in the qualifiers. Tiebreaker criteria in case of equal points: 1. Overall goal difference: The team with the best goal difference across all group matches. 2. Number of goals scored: The team that has scored the most goals in all group matches. 3. Head-to-head results: Analyzing the results of matches played between the teams in question, following the same logic. Goal difference in head-to-head matches: The best goal difference in matches played between the tied teams. 5. Number of goals scored in head-to-head matches: The most goals scored in matches between the tied teams. 6. Number of away goals scored: Specifically if he tie is between only two teams. 7. Fair Play ranking: A points system is used to penalize cards: 8. Drawing of lots: As a last resort, if the tie persists after all previous criteria. It should be noted that Africa will be represented by at least 9 teams at the 2026 World Cup. A 10th spot could be secured if the winner of the African playoffs triumphs in the intercontinental playoffs |

Kalulu44:Let us stop all these permutations. Does Nigeria really deserve to go to World Cup ? Have they scored more than two goals in a game ? How many clean sheets have they kept ? Super Eagles is not as good as we take them to be. To make matter worse, mediocre coaches were employed because they are Nigerians. The NFF don't even think. |
