Hello guys

I seek your guidance. I'm a graphics designer and I've had this thing for web design for some time and I've been trying all I can to make considerable progress in it as per being competent and also to sell it as a skill

Somehow, God helped me to learn a few things from someone but right now, I've not been able to reach the person. I possibly would soon be able to connect back with him. But I thought to reach out to a wider community

So far, we did two projects, a portfolio website and a business website. I'm on a news blog website and a real estate website is in queue too

I'm still on the news blog website, they're practice websites by the way. What I'm looking for is/are recommendations, links that can help become competent and also guides to selling this skill.

Senior web designers in the house, how would you advise a beginner? Please share with me, I'm grateful

I checked the two platforms, and I noticed they have more to do with web development, coding and programming. I don't know but coding has right from time not been my thing. It's always looked complex and mind boggling to me and I don't seem to follow

Which is why I opted for non code web design. For example, the practice projects up there were done with WordPress which is where my learning is focused for now

I didn't add this detail of information earlier but I don't know if you have some ideas that work in that direction too

First Of All, Don't even think of starting with Youtube. Get someone who is very skilled who can teach you one on one.
A successful coder will not be worried abt the amt you will pay him for learning, he wil be concern abt the impact. Coding is very powerful if you know you onions around, I will advice you to take it serious, I can't the numbers of interviewer I have corrected during an interview session last month. Make sure you're all in. Some people can talk abt coding like a prof without any knowledge of the skill, Avoid a coder that talks abt it perfectly well but cannot show you a thing!! After you've built a good foundation in coding you can now start with Youtube and Other website, Goodluck!!
