Guy do as much as you can to get to Yola and write your exams, it might be your best shot. Only 8k applicants were shortlisted for the exams and you are very Lucky to be among the successful applicants.

I'm not disputing the fact that it can't be 490k. I'm only telling the person that said it's been 490k for a while that it was never 490k before. Maybe the increase happened recently but it was never 490k. I'm 100% certain of that

You’ll easily get distracted, choose one at-most two agencies and focus on it. Change strategies and be strategic about it.

This your emphasis without proper timelines is not communicating properly. Obviously they never started with 490k. So, to butress your point, you may have to give timelines.

I know a lot of effcc staff and what I can say is that their salary is good. It was reviewed about 2 years ago or so if I’m not mistaken to be over 450k but the issue is their allowances. I know someone that is a DS and passed out since 2014 or 2015 I can’t remember though but it was during magu’s time but that guy is actively looking for another job as we speak. Like actively. He is in Abuja. He always tells me that his colleagues have left to nimasa, ncc and other places because of allowances. Allowances in efcc is very poor. They make their money through back door most times and he’s not willing to get involved in that so he feels getting somewhere else is better for him. My cousin is also in his set but was posted to south south and he is a baller now. Like a big boy. I don’t know how much custom pays but I know for both organizations posting matters a lot in order to make money.

EFCC doesn't earn more than Customs. These guys are under the paramilitary. The salary difference isn't much for all paramilitary (at most 20-25k difference). The real deal are the bonuses. EFCC gets the best bonuses as long as Paramilitary is concerned. Reason why most police officers lobby to get posted there because there are police officers working with EFCC.

As at 2019, EFCC GL8 (Officer cadet) was on 160k basic salary but I am 100% certain it's far more than that now
