This is total senseless and disheartening by the President! Haba now ! How does he want the family of the young man who was killed to feel ? This will empower other “feminists” to attack and kill their husbands and then later say they are “reformed” in prison.Tinubu should be ashamed of himself! Agbaya! This man true identity played out after election. He could not even hide it since day one. He is totally against what he rallied the whole country to fight against during GEJ era. How on earth can you pardon someone that intentionally killed her husband no matter how the pressure is. So others should take the same route and begin to kill their spouses since there is way around it so far you are powerful. It's such a shame that I casted my vote for this failure.

Converting her death sentence to life in prison would have made more sense.

Nahh, Mr Tinubu erred on this. You can't take another person's life and be allowed to live. If anybody must talk about forgiveness, it should be coming from the deceased person's family. This presidential pardon of a thing needs to have limit as this is unfair on the victims and their families.

I don't think this is a good idea. Murder is such a heavy crime. At least a long jail term is required if there's pardon for death sentence. Many others will now apply for same. Scary!
