I understand where you are coming from, but you have to look at the bigger picture.

How about social amenities, good roads, power supply, security, potable water, and internet? Also consider the possibilities it opens up for when you have kids.

I believe you have to make this decision holistically; it sounds like you are in a good place, but there is better, and I believe that's what you should strive for.

Why do we always equates money making with quality of life?

There a lot of african countries with high Gross Domestic Product (GDP) but low Human Development Index(HDI).

So for me, I will go to the country with high GDP to make money then reside in another country that has High HDI

I won't consider relocating abroad again if I can have this benefits in Nigeria .

Abroad is considered where one can hustle for a better pay & life .
If I get the better pay & life here, why relocating abroad again?

I'll only travel for vacation & come back to my soft life here in Nigeria .

For us that have been saving 200dollars per week for kids higher institution fees and cares, we no dey go anywhere. The kids will travel once they are done with those secondary studies

I don't consider travelling abroad at the moment, I'm okay like this. And if I do travel abroad in the future, it won't be for work or permanent relocation. The last time I worked hard for my income was prior 2018. So, what am I looking for again?

People who saved more than 500k monthly in Nigeria still migrated abroad, reason being that people migrate for several reasons.


Some migrated for security reasons.

Some migrated to secure a better future for their children.

Some migrated for health related issues (they are scared Nigerian healthcare cannot handle their present or future health challenges).

Some migrated for better opportunities in life

Some migrated out of peer and family pressure.

Some migrated to escape and end family poverty cycle.

Some migrated to flee toxic work environment in Nigeria. For your information, working in a well paid job in Nigeria comes with plenty work harzards like; office juju/diabolism, dragging of office position which led many Nigerians to early death.


Some migrated for fear of their life in Nigeria should they run into; kidnappers, armed robbers, warren Police officers, soldiers and other unscrupulous elements in Nigeria.


So people migrate for many reasons beyond making money or financial purposes.


So think deeply and look inward, if you have peace of mind in Nigeria and your inner spirit tells you that Nigeria will be kind to you and your family, then you have no reason to consider migration for now, except for vacation, business and medical tourism

In as much as I am skilled worker, those doing minimum wage job here in the UK are living way better than those in Nigeria, earning the minimum wage of N70k as their own suffer no get part 2.
