SOZINN:The reason for that is that they're never true to the comics. Real comic book readers wouldn't waste their time to go and watch something they know is clearly washed down. They should try to adapt major stories that are interesting, and adapt them faithfully, not all these nonsense that you see superman struggling to beat normal humans. We want to see true superhumans not these clowns that can't even destroy a small town. Put the real shît on screen and watch people's interest get piqued again. |

Beauty in Black – Season 2 (Part 1) Season 2 follows the explosive aftermath of Kimmie’s shocking marriage to the dying patriarch, Horace Bellarie, which propels her from the strip club to the center of the Bellarie beauty empire. Kimmie’s Rise and Family War: Kimmie’s new role as Horace’s wife and appointed COO makes her the family’s main enemy—especially Olivia, Norman, Roy, and Mallory. Using sharp business instincts, she exposes their corruption and modernizes the company, intensifying their hatred. Meanwhile, Olivia secretly sabotages Horace’s cancer treatment to hasten his death. Dark Secrets Unfold: Horace hides Kimmie’s friend Angel, who survived his presumed arrest, but this protection triggers a deadly hit. Elsewhere, Charles kills club workers during a robbery and turns to his lover, Varney, the family lawyer, for help. Their cleanup is interrupted by masked gunmen posing as police. Tragedy and Revenge: At the estate, Rain mistakenly got Glen to fall from the top though not dead, a stablehand and Jules’s son, believing he attacked Sylvie. This act sparks a new vendetta as Jules vows revenge. The season ends with Kimmie solidifying her power within the company—but surrounded by betrayal, violence, and enemies ready to destroy her. |

RE: Marriage Story (2019) Marriage is 2019 was the last truly great year for movies for me. It’s not the least bit ironic that it was the last year when we had it all, then Covid came, and the world has gone to sh*t ever since. I’ve been doing a little revisit of films from that year this past week, and it was finally the turn of this gem. Charlie Barber and Nicole Barber are on the brink of divorce. They think they can go through it amicably, forgetting that it’s conflict itself that brought them there in the first place. They soon realize divorces are messy, like it’s literally a battle. The leads are what make this film so special. I’ve always thought Adam Driver is an exceptional actor, there’s this poise and quiet intensity in his performances. Sure, he’ll always be known as Kylo Ren, but it’s his work in indie films that really shows his range. His portrayal of Charlie Barber is perhaps the most believable, nuanced depiction of a man on the verge, losing his marriage, his child, his career, and really, his life in the sense of it. The only reason he didn’t win Best Actor that year was because Joaquin Phoenix decided 2019 was also his year to do a total madness! Scarlett Johansson as Nicole Barber was equally brilliant, like i am talking "Lost in Translation" (2003) and Her (2013) top form. One could clearly see, she was almost contractually free from the MCU by then, rent was due and then she needed to act out her heart!, and not just the robotic acting needed to play The "Black Widow". Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig are probably my favourite filmmaker power couple, and they were going band for band that year, Noah with this and Greta with Little Women (2019). There’s this one scene between Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson that I honestly think might be the best dialogue scene in my recent memory. It starts out calm and conversational, then snowballs into a full-blown confrontation, ending in this gut-wrenching moment where Driver’s character explodes and says “I wish you’d get an illness and just die, dead in a way, if I could guarantee our son would be okay.”! The instant he realizes what he’s said, to the mother of his child, to someone he once loved or most likely still loved, he collapses to the floor, sobbing, whispering, “I’m sorry"!😩 Mann!… it’s like the director yelled “cut,” and they both just refused to stop. So raw, so real. An absolute acting masterclass! This is the kind of film i can see over and over again.... Top shelf stuff, really! 🔝 8/10

Splitville is a solid 5/10 for me. This is one funny drama for real, some scenes were Damm funny and the male actors killed it but be that as it may, i don't like when kids tends to make sexual references or sexual jokes in a movie, especially jokes that are very raw sexually. I guess this is now the Hollywood we have to accept. The movie is in a way trying to normalise open relationship and marriage. Dakota Johnson is always acting weird movies. Lol

Fynestboi:Well, I don't really dwell on new movies anymore. It's all gay related and I can't deal with those. What I do is make a search for some of the movies that are more than 6 years ago It could be any genre {Action, Sci-fi, adventure} Now with the list I just proceed to {https://moviemata.com} and use the search feature to search out the movies Now, my phone is not having much memory, so I just watch and delete and download the next one. There are some good movies too, but finding them requires attention to the various reviews online |
