The biblical God's attributes and position is determined by what is written in their religious texts. He is whatever his inventors wants him to be.

It would seem but a closer scrutiny of the old Testament says otherwise. Israelites were once chosen as a Prototype, a Kingdom set up by God but they missed it. Played fast and loose with that favour and they were warned, rebuked and finally lost that prestige.

Subsequent references to that elevated and enviable position were just them doctoring the Scriptures to remain in that position.
