You are right though, l met an Author of Books recently, he schooled in the West, worked there as well before, moving back to Africa, on arrival with all his Diplomas & Certificates , he couldn't find a job, but today, he is an Author of Books, he wrote a Book that Lawyers, lecturers, Clergymen, Business men and women and different categories of people are buying his books and he is leveraging it as a Speaker in different places as well while making money via his books , my point is this, he delved into publishing book's and he told me that he will be able to publish up to 500 books in the next 10 to 15 years, he is not even selling his books online yet, he publish and send them to different BOOKSHOPs , so , you can see that, his Western Education was not a waste but rather it has given him a platform to discover himself and also create job for himself and with time, he will be employing More hands to help his book publishing business, he told me that ANTHONY ROBBINS inspired him, Anthony Robbins never had a University Education, he only went to a Secondary school in the US , and he has written over 350 Hard Copy Books on Human Development, which is INCREDIBLE and he is also a billionaire in dollars today via his book's and speaking engagement

By the way I don't think the course is irrelevant as some people above claim.

Its actually a good and sustainable course. Many people are more comfortable getting lost in the crowd. MI called it crowd mentality.

Many people don't know that this course is very good. I work in the Health, Environment, and Safety department of a multinational oil and gas company, and most of my colleagues in the environmental section of our department studied the same course.

Elect/Elect guy u should be busy with other things, solar installation, IT and other things, the koko is that engineering is not an easy course hence u can easily adapt to other things
Why u no learn how to repair flat screen, I cary my tv go repair for arena for lagos, the man charge me 40k, Baba those guys dey make money daily o, electrical in cars nkor
As a graduate u must learn to adapt not only to find work
I ventured into IT many years ago from engineering cause I just believe that since I can face engineering nothing fit hard me, that's life

Like, it is an economically useless Department. Why pay about 10 lecturers from year 1 to year 4 salaries to teach someone whose school fees throughout that period can pay at least their salaries?
