The late DSP Alamieyeseigha is an impeached Governor who was jailed for corruption but pardoned by the Goodluck Jonathan administration in 2013.

In saner climes, civil society organization should be on the streets protesting the pardon of the criminal alams by now

The president has the final say. Those people have served part of their terms and are probably a good citizen now.

Getting pardoned is a way to make them a better person in the society other than incarceration

APC and every body associated with it - no matter how highly or lowly placed they are - are the biggest enemy of this country. No other group of Nigerians hate Nigeria as much as those people. The only likeness they have for Nigeria is based on what they benefit from the system. The Canadian ruling that label it a terrorist organisation is not wrong.

Drug kingpins, kidnappers and murderers pardoned? A shame.

Did the government think about the safety of society? How about the safety of policemen and others instrumental in the convictions of these people?

What will now happen to the informant that helped in the capture of that kidnapper and murderer?

What happens to those security men that probably got shot/injured/killed while trying to capture these hardened criminals?

Na wa.

Can you imagine!

I have never seen this kind of pardon in this country. I expect to be seeing past precedents to justify this pardon because it is still very unbelievable.
Re: People Should Be Protesting The Pardon Of Criminal Alams - Dada (throwback) by TOPCRUISE(m):
Someone committed a terrifying grizzly murder and not accidental murder and the next thing is for us to hear that the President pardoned her when it is expected that he executes justice.
A spat and a slap in the face of the victim’s family.

It’s shocking that some people were even justifying Tinubu’s wicked action of injustice.

Nobody prays to get this kind of injustice. Especially an injustice deliberately delivered by a person they voted as President. They were expecting justice but got a big spat and slap from the president. Anyone that supports this his action is a criminal and thief

They will tell you nowadays you are too toxic yenyenyen. Look the other way against those who beat up voters and tell them not to vote. Those who threaten an ethnic block and tell them not to vote, those who wanted to destroy Nigeria if GEJ hadn't given up democratically.
