Thinking the same. I am Nigerian but I am not lousy and rude especially in a foreign country. I wonder how Nigerians behave that make peaceful ghananians to start hating them. |

Sonnobax15:The Nigerians who are there, what did they do? Was it not the Eze Ndigbo stuff that caused trouble there? We don't like the truth at all. Anyone who wants to visit another man's country or even another state or town within your country, must respect their rules and laws. |

Be careful. I travelled to Ghana from Lagos in the early 1980s. Literally every Ghanaian I met then was looking for a connection to migrate to Nigeria. |

God is good motors or GUO will take you directly to Accra. With passport around 85k. Without passport like 90 to 100k. Very simple. You will pass through Seme border(Nigeria/Benin), Lacodji border(Benin/Togo) and Aflao border(Togo/Benin). Or you can go to Mile 2. But as a first timer, GUO and GIGM is better for you |

onuman:That was about 40 years ago or more, when Ghana was experiencing very serious economic challenges. They have recovered from that challenge and now relatively doing well. At least, you would not worry too much about electricity, security and freedom. You can wake up from sleep at 1:00am or 3:00am midnight in Ghana and still find many freelance commercial taxis and buses plying the city roads till day break without issues. |

xpgroove:Go with God is Good motors, if you don’t have an international passport, ur NIN is good but there maybe diff of #10k and then yellow fever card if u anyone. If u don’t have you will be made to do one at either Benin border or Togo. So I will advice u do it at the Lagos international airport. More cheaper. For the Tfare you maybe looking at 80k now that fuel is 980 a litter |

mikeapollo:Its not a figment at all, he's very right, he said it the way it is. Even with plenty money there's this sad aura. They are never happy.. I stayed there 2yrs and had to leave 2023. Don't think I can live there anymore. Immediately i stepped into benin republic, i felt this cool breeze lazed with joy. So its not about being igbo because am not. The currency is just good numerically but not economically. Most companies that left Nigeria for Ghana cuz of cost of production and light e.g Dunlop av all shot down. Prices are high, infact give it to the igbo business men there they help bring down cost of goods that's why Ghana business men don't like them like they are spoiling business for them and not allowing them monopoly of prices(higher prices). For the Op its better you find your feet here in Nigeria than running there, i pray you don't regret it |

He is very accurate with this information about ghana, am currently a nigeria living here for now. No, you don't need a yellow card. You can travel with your NIN if you are traveling in a commercial bus. However, the delays are higher when you travel with your NIN and faster when you have your Nigerian passport. Xpgroove, note that your Nigerian MTN will stop working the moment you get to Cotonou. You should buy a Ghanian SIM card once you get to Aflao. I think it's about 70 Ghana Cedis. That will enable you roam your Nigerian MTN line and stay active on WhatsApp while in Ghana. Please note that things are by far cheaper in Nigeria than in Ghana. The Cedis just have numerical strength but economically useless. So, get ready to change tons of naira into Cedis at the Seme border or at Chisco terminal at Circle. That's why you should get your to and fro tickets if you know for sure the day you are coming back because if you spent 100k going to Ghana, you will spend 150k coming back to Nigeria. That's because their currency no get economic value. And you have to pay in Cedis in Accra while coming back. Please board an organised transport company like GUO, Chisco or GIG. Their fare covers everything you will need to tip border control and policemen. The tasty fried rice I ate at Chisco terminal in Accra made me fall in love with them Enjoy your visit![/quote] |

I dey Accra for like five months now, NIN self is better, I came in here with a voters card before I crossed the Aflao border at the immigration checkpoint, based on say my passport don expire. The driver of the vehicle from Seme, Togo did the settlements and negotiations with the officers at the border before we got to Ghana. Sha hold enough money because naira no get level for here. If I transfer 10K naira to a money exchange vendor today, I won't get more than 87 cedis. Indomie hungry man costs like 12 cedis, two raw eggs go for 5 cedis, titus sardine 15 cedis. 10 minutes bike ride cost about 60 cedis(over 6k naira) last Friday, things are expensive here. And buy the basic things you need from Nigeria, nivea body cream that I bought in Naija around 5k costs 89 cedis (over 9k) at Shoprite here, just hold enough money and you'll be good. |

Even if you don't have your passport get to the bus early speak to the bus driver he'll be able to cover you, the road is a very lovely one because I have been on that road , use guo motors if you don't mind , safe journey. |
