I paid for an Odu two days ago and Airtel hasn't still deployed it. The engineer said there are issues they're trying to resolve but I believe he has other engagements and wants to come for imstallation at his own will. Does anyone here have the same experience ?

yes, I confirmed that.

Sometime it doesn't connect until you connected the battery to light before it connects again. This happen alot to me but not all the time.

The moment the battery alone did not make my internet to connect, the only solution is to connect it to light and the internet get connected immediately and after that, I off the light again and the internet will continue to work

they have it at Alaba international and APAPA branch of Airtel office. But why are you going there because they can never give it to you.

They only give it to intallers with an ID card and customers acknowledgement slip.

I want to go there and pay for it, I know they only give it to only installers.

Do this:

1. Call CC
2. When they pick, tell them to go through the records of your router line. Ensure you have the router number to call to them.
3. Usually, first responders don't know jack about router lines, so tell them to forward the call to their supervisors any time they say something untoward. They normally say you have exhausted the data. Tell them it's unlimited and should be time based and not data based.
4. You are vexed obviously, but don't show it, at least not yet. Be intent on communicating effectively about what happened, and be factual about it too.
5. The supervisor will go through the records and reset the date to the actual date. Ensure you tell them the date you subscribed or registered the line, as the case may be; and make sure the date is correct o.

During that bad period, I called them many times. They must have taken notice of my repeated calls because the calls were recorded. It could be because of me that they reset some people to 10th because the initial expiry date for the sub I did was 9/10, but after fixing it, they moved it one day ahead to 10/10/2025 which I have renewed and still using with no problems.

Thanks for the suggestion! They got it fixed but I didn't get additional days like others. My issue started on the 3rd Oct, they fixed it today 14th Oct, to expire on the 17th. In summary, no expiry date increase even though i lost 10 days due to no internet.

MY ODU Router speed test this is the highest i have gotten and it was around 2AM IN the midnight

They just delivered mine but it's not working yet.
They said to wait for 24hrs. Did yours work immediately ?

this isn't bad as your speed is capped @50mbps.
Mine gets up to 200+mbs but withdraw back to around 50mbps.

Network must be very good in your location, you are likely getting full bars of 5G.

Yes, it means that it's been active since on the 10th October. If it's not working at your end, then something is not right. Someone posted a template on how to contact Airtel and getting them to rectify issues. Kindly look for it and follow the instructions.

It could be that it's an Esim and it's having issues. I had such issue. After the line became active on the system, but it wasn't working on the device, they called me to return for a swap from Esim to physical sim.

It's possible that they may not have input your email or alternate number at the point of registration, or you didn't give it to them. You need to rectify that. You may need to contact them for that.

If you plan on getting this device. Once they're done with your registration at their office, don't leave immediately. Wait until it starts working before you leave. Even if you have to wait another 30mins. It will save you a lot of stress. Make sure you connect to it at their office and it's browsing before leaving.
