We got lucky bro.. CAF is deducting points earned against the worst team in the group from 2nd placed team, For most of the 2nd placed teams they earned 4-6 points against the weakest team in the group, we only earned 2 points against Zimbabwe. This rule came in to effect because one of the 9 groups , a team dropped (Erithrea) out of the qualifiers.

Nothing wrong in play offs , Brazil did this before the Korea / Japan world cup. It was play offs that took them to that world cup they eventually won&No one expected them to win the world cup l.

Actually it was Rwanda that messed up everything. I smell match fixing. How could they have allowed SA, which has never defeated them before to win massive on their turf? I was hoping that the least SA will get was a draw.

For example Nigeria end with 17 points but 2 points was removed from 17 points because Nigeria only get 2 points from the lowest team in Nigeria group Zimbabwe.

So others that are having 22 points, 19 points, those teams got 6 points from the lowest team in their group therefore a team that has 19 points after removing 6 points they go back to 13 points. Nigeria own 15 points is higher.

In a position to qualify, remove the "good" first, let's humble ourselves. Good position would have been 3 or 4 matches ago, this one na patch-patch.

unfortunately, we don't even qualify for the playoffs. We placed 7th on the table of teams to qualify for the playoffs. Only 4 teams will qualify.

Nigeria cannot completely depend on Osimhen to win games. That means if Osimhen picks up an injury, they are in trouble. Well done, Super Eagles and thank you, Victor Osimhen!

If Dr Congo win they will have maximum of 16 points and push Nigeria back to number 4 on that second best table. Nigeria will now push Burkina Faso out because that goal number 4 by Nigeria today made Nigeria have a goal difference of +7 and Burkina Faso have a goal difference of +6. Because Nigeria have more goals than Burkina Faso that is the simple reason that made us enter the playoff.
