If you plan on getting this device. Once they're done with your registration at their office, don't leave immediately. Wait until it starts working before you leave. Even if you have to wait another 30mins. It will save you a lot of stress. Make sure you connect to it at their office and it's browsing before leaving.

not good at all because you are at the mercy of the installers. They could delay your installation for days unless you agree to run their palms with coin. They are demi gods now

There's a way not all mifi are tweak able sha. I use mine on MTN universal Mifi

Thanks for the suggestion! They got it fixed but I didn't get additional days like others. My issue started on the 3rd Oct, they fixed it today 14th Oct, to expire on the 17th. In summary, no expiry date increase even though i lost 10 days due to no internet.

As you guys are calling them, they have changed the one I renewed on 10th, which is supposed to expire on 9th of November, to now expire on 2nd of November.

They should expect me. I will keep quiet until close to that date.

Too much anyhowness from Airtel, for this product that should give them an edge. Pathetic.

The problem we have in this country is that customer service is very poor. If Airtel handles this ODU very well, they will take customers away from MTN because, unlike MTN FibreX, this works almost anywhere, as long as there's Airtel coverage there. And their new 5G ODUs have very good radios that optimizes reception.

But they will still use their own hands to spoil things for themselves.

Please which powerbank can I use to power the odu router perfectly without fluctuating,the white powerbank that comes with it isn’t strong enough

you didn't lie bro. 3 weeks ago i had a similar issue. I requested they transfer my call to a supervisor. I poured out my mind and right on the call, the supervisor escalated my issue, told me to hold on then finally he requested i reboot my ODU and see the Magic! It worked right there on the call. I seized the opportunity to plead with the man to help use his influence to get us 5G in my area. He said he'll try. Last week, he called me while at work that 5G is live in my area. I couldn't wait to get home and boom.... 5G was live for real on my Router. The format works 💯

I want to buy this ODU since is cheaper and has more bandwidth than the 5G router. But can't i return the 5G router in exchange for the ODU? the 5G router is really frustrating.

A powerful bank with atleast 22.5 W output minimum and get the type c to 12voult cord on jumia. Although the ODU consumes a lot of power though so a 30,000 Mah is what I will recommend for peace for mind

what network provider does that in Nigeria? Why procrastinate if you have the money since you confirmed it yourself that it's good. Is it until they increase the price then you start to regret? Do you know how much the Fastmile is being sold now in the market, a device that Airtel gave out for free about a year ago? Presently this is my second ODU, i bought another one instead of subscribing for a new month since it's free. You had better wake up and do the needful

It's Nokia, not Huawei. I don't see how it's better than the current ODUs. The current ODUs have far superior radio inside them. Aesthetically , it looks nice, that's all. I got the device immediately it came out. I think it was 20k or 25k at the time. Because of how bad Network is my area, I gave it out.

Lol, I for done buy 2 if I have seen the physical sim version.
I guess I will buy the esim like that.

It is 100% certain the price won't be same in the nearest future.

it was none of his biz. Infact he mounted it beside each other. I even told him to fix it in such a way that it would be easy to remove if need be

Thank you for your advice, i dey their office like this, but to register is even a problem, they're saying network is not allowing them to trigger the otp that should be sent to me for payment. Inside Airtel office network sef they worry them.

I finally got my ODU today. It's a brand new version different from the ones all of you are using. So new even the installers had initial difficulty in setting it up. But it's all up and running now.

It has an Ethernet port and cable so I plugged in my smartbox hoping it will work by but it's not. It recognises that ethernet was plugged in but it doesn't show any network.

When I go to network settings inside the smartbox, I see this. Dunno what to input there that might make this work. Or even what to tweak in the router settings
