You actually think NFF will allow him to drop Ndidi and Iwobi? grin
When it's not like NFF bought Ndidi and Iwobi for humongous amount like Enzo Fernandez at Chelsea and can't be dropped.

If they want to get the best out of top quality players like Ola Aina, Osimehn and Lookman they better find something to do about the average Iwobi and washed Ndidi

4 wins in 6 games was a solid performance and the team wasn't playing pure Haram football. Chelle has done enough for us to stick with him, regardless of what happens in the future.
4 wins against which teams? Lesotho, Benin, Rwanda and which other country that is ranked low by FIFA àbí?

Make Una dey gas untop team and coach struggling to beat minnows.

Chelle rescued our world cup qualification campaign, he's done enough to keep his job. Whether we deserve better than Chelle is another matter entirely.
Let them keep him; when we jam better footballing nation in the play off Una go believe.

If we get through African qualifiers, I am sure we will qualify in the Inter-Continental tournament

Opponents will be Bolivia, New Caledonia, one Asian team (UAE or Iraq) and two CONCACAF teams (all those Suriname, Trinidad, Costa Rica level)

Two of these teams will then qualify for World Cup which will be Bolivia and the African team

If we get through African qualifiers, we are as good as there

If not for Chelle, we for dey drag last place with Zimbabwe.

Pajero and Finidi have blood on their hands.

4 games, 3 points.

With this team, Eric Chelle will qualify us from this group easily if he started the qualifications campaign

And the top ranked team skips semi-final and waits for the winner of the playoff between the other two bottom ranked teams in their half of the draw.

I believe we're ranked above all of the teams likely to make playoff from the other continents.

Pajero especially, it can be argued that Finidi played tough features in SA in Uyo, and Benin away.

Iwobi is still the best midfielder we have in Europe and he plays top level football for Fulham, Ndidi is washed and has no business in the team, what needs be done is find ways to bring the best from Iwobi with sensible support around him.

Since 2000s, bar Mikel, Oliseh and Okocha, we no really get midfielders wey pass Iwobi ability wise.

Gbam. Nothing do Iwobi at all, he only needs 2 decent midfielders with him. Although Wilson Oruma will argue with what you are saying above, maybe even Christian Obodo. These two never got a good long run in the Super Eagles team but they were technically excellent club players

Looks like African Playoffs will start 13th Nov and conclude 16th November so we are less than a month away

Also looks like its based on FIFA rankings so we will most likely face Gabon

If Cameroon overtake us in rankings which is slightly possible, then we will face DRC

It's impossible for rankings to change materially to avoid one of the two outcomes above.

Cameroon have a small chance of overtaking us in the rankings which will change our opponent from Gabon to DRC. Gabon cannot overtake DRC in the rankings, their gap is too wide and neither of them can overtake us or Cameroon.

So it's 80% likely to be Gabon and 20% likely to be DRC

I actually slightly fancy DRC to beat Cameroon given player quality differential is not too huge, and due to Central African rivalry so there's a chance we don't play Cameroon at all

Plus na Onana be the GK for Cameroon.

We only need to spam crosses and shots into their box. Onana himself will donate like 2 goals give us.

The Super Eagles will face Gabon in the first semifinal on November 13, in Morocco.

If they win, they’ll meet Cameroon or DR Congo in the final on November 16, also in Morocco.

The playoff winner will qualify for the Inter-Confederation Play-Offs in March 2026, joining:

🇧🇴 Bolivia (CONMEBOL – South America)
🇳🇨 New Caledonia (OFC – Oceania)
One team from AFC (Asia)
Two teams from CONCACAF (North & Central America)

This stage will determine two final qualification spots for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

It doesn't matter who Nigeria play, all those 3 teams are capable of beating this Super Eagles.

No just stress yourself.

I’m not interested in being politically correct here . The super eagles I watched in the last few matches will struggle against any average team and we will be dumped out of any serious competition if we face serious teams not named Lesotho, Benin or Rwanda .

If they choose to stick with him, no wahala we will see how it will all end .

Iwobi has always been average right from his days at Arsenal ; that Nigeria chose to build their midfield play around him doesn’t change that fact .

The earlier we follow the Morocco route of scouting for players of Nigerian descent across Europe and convincing them to play for the national team , the better for us. If we take that route you would be surprised there are players out there who are more talented than Iwobi .

I don’t even need to hate watch to see his inadequacies every match he plays both in the EPL and in Nigerian colours . The boy is just not good enough .

Where will these play offs happen ? I hope we are not playing teams like Bolivia in their country o.

Bolivia Dey beat teams like Brazil , Chile , Colombia for their home ground o. Maybe it’s due to their weather condition , I don’t know but to pull a win away at Bolivia will require our players playing better than what I’ve been seeing in the past 3 to 4 matches .

The play offs give a vibe of starting the World Cup before the World Cup starts proper

We might not even play Bolivia at all.

Two teams are qualifying from the FIFA play off and if we qualify from Africa we will be seeded meaning we'll only play 1 game.

The FIFA playoff will be divided into 2 bracket, the 4 lowest ranked teams will play each other in semifinal, and those that win will play the 2 seeded team for the qualifying spot.

If we manage to qualify from CAF, we are going to the world cup.
