No worries.

The Inter-confederation games should be between;

One team from CAF

Either UAE or Iraq/Saudi Arabia from the Asian Confederation

Bolivia from CONMEBOL

New Caledonia from OFC

Jamaica and Costa Rica from CONCACAF
As long as Nigeria get the ticket from Africa and get seeded as the highest rank in one of the group waiting for who to battle for one of the two ticket

We have not qualified from the African playoff, you are already looking ahead to the intercontinental playoffs!!!
We still have 2 matches to play and win first before you start thinking of the opponents in the intercontinental playoffs!
Nothing stops me from looking and thinking ahead ahead.

How?
The four top ranked runners up qualified for play off which will be played as Semi finals and Final

Who ever wins the final will them proceed to play Intercontinental play offs. It's even a tougher journey ahead for the super chickens.

Niger came 2nd in Group E with 15points. Usually, all the teams in the group would have been awarded 3points and 3-0 win against Eritrea. (Home and away makes it 6points and 6-0). Then from there, the top four runners up qualifies for the play off. Niger should have been sitting pretty cool at 21points in 3rd or 4th position instead of 15points in 9th position.

This has always been the standard, but the decision to abolish this and use the ranking system was made know just few days ago.

The Top-ranked runners-up

Nigeria. 45
Cameroon. 52
DR Congo. 60
Burkina Faso 64

Attached is the actual standing of the runners up.

The whole ranking system appears to have been engineered to favour Nigeria. The Excuse CAF and FIFA gave was that in other to allow for equilibrium due to Eritrea withdrawal, ranking system will now be used for the playoffs.

I hope this clarifies.

This question is very funny. The player that scored hat-trick was so tired and needed rest, in case you don't understand, it's easy for players to sistain injury, when they're tired.
Yes, I know. That's why I responded to him

No sir before any qualification start CAF issued a communique to explain the process . It was well stated what happens if a team withdrew. All teams were aware , what helped Nigeria was Burkina Faso played Ethiopia a day before Nigerian - Benin match.

What is the same thing? I hope you dont mean your analogy of the tiny elite? Its extremely different. Extremely. If Ikoyi / VI/ Lekki were strictly reserved for white people till 1994, you will understand the difference. Especially if you as a Nigerian needed a passbook to go there for menial work during the day.

If only white people could contest elections here till 1994, you will understand.

If they kept maybe Awo / Zik etc in prison for 27 years because they wanted a free Nigeria for Africans as well, you will understand.

After all that, if white Brits owned 70 per cent of land in Nigeria TILL TODAY and almost all of the GDP TILL TODAY, u will understand.

If you were not allowed to go into a restaurant or shop for white people, you will get it.

If you had to use different toilets, you will get it.

I can go on and and on. Just thank God for your hot weather and mosquitoes otherwise you will be in this situation till today.
The worst part is , they're not even the Brits, but the freaking Dutch from friggin Netherlands ..

Wth!!!!

It's proof they intentionally don't wanna admit black SA excellence in everything that's right in SA. Sore losers!😂

We qualified despite being docked points, led the race from day 1 without a single white player in the team and almost exclusively home based 😂🇿🇦🏆 More tears in Second-geria tonight 😂😂😂
Does a Black man coach the team??

😕😕😂

Which Cameroon is a debutants? Are you talking a Cameroon that was at the fifa world cup before Nigeria or you mean Cape Verde?

N.b if you follow Nigerians soccer pundits who criticize coaches then u are just following Nigerian football. Remember Keshi in 2013 before he won the trophy, NFF has already prepared is sack letter ( nothing pundits) if he had lost against all star studded Ivorian team headed by Didier Drogba . But God of heaven shame them.
Read to comprehend. I said was rooting for Benin to make their world cup debut and maybe do well the way cameroon, Senegal and Ghana did as debutants who all went as far as the quarter finals. Cameroon made their world cup debut in 1990 so I know exactly what I'm talking about.

Going forward...to successfully execute the Continental and Intercontinental legs we will need the following:
1. Understanding the task ahead and the specific challenges analysed by the team handlers and communicated clearly to the boys
2. Concentration, focus intentionality, resilience and personsl discipline from the boys
3. Tactical Discipline ( don't under rate your opponents, don't rule out questionable officiation, our Players must remain professional and not get in the face of referees and match officials, no consistent fouling resulting in cards), strategy and optionality for executing each match as they come and according to the data we have gathered about each of these opponents especially the African Teams.
4. Improve our attacking play, ball transition. Use our traditional wing play as required, Staying clinical in front of goals ( this has been one of our biggest headaches)
5. Manage our defence line very well and improved communication between our now troublesome Nwabali and his defence line
6. The coaching crew to continue to read the game and make the correct call when it comes to making changes
7. Hoping none of our key 1st team players suffer injury, fatigue or loss of form...
8. Think about a good pair for our attacking line, a solid midfield & defending midfield to shield our defence from opponent teams with fast players who break very quickly behind our defence lines
9. We need prayers and for things to generally work in our favor ( just like SA point deduction and Eretria pulling out)... grin

Kudos to the lads I was certain at half time they would concede the match and let Benin qualify instead of us helping the zeno-fobes down south.

But alas all things worked together for our good 😊

Simple question: how did Eritrea help us qualify?

Incorrect. Cameroun made their World Cup debut in 1982 drawing with eventsul winners Italy and 2others in their group and ending with 3points, undefeated but knocked out.
