In Memory of my Lovely German shepherd Mayoress who slept in the Lord on the 6th of October 2025. She was purchased in March 2012.

Mayoress was Such a beautiful, well behaved and peaceful Creature.
To know her is to Love her…

I know someone that had a 26 year old dog. The dog was so old. Nobody saw it die or the body. It just went out one calm evening and never returned.

The owner looked for it but never found it.

Someone said some dogs usually do that when they have premonitions of their death.

I also remember they was a dog on a street close to where I lived as a kid. I avoided that street because of the dog as it always barked at me and chased me one particular day.

I can't remember the particular age but it was well over 20 years old.

It later died and I remember being very happy and started going to the compound to throw sticks at fruits hanging from the tree there!

Her First litter was in 2014 and her last litter 2016.. So I’m sure she saw her 10th generation😆🥂

So I’m certain My Mayoress passed at the apex age.. she died of Degenerative Myelopathy. It’s the main death cause of aged German Shepherd.

You’re right.. Since the past 13years and 7months I’ve had my girl she has never used her teeth on me, but during her sickness while I was trying to help clean her body she began to show aggressiveness by trying to bite me.. it was really disheartening!
Fly on my sweet Girl.. I love and miss you dearly.

When our first dog died at age 14, we buried him like we would bury a human being with full funeral honors and grave side rites.

1 year of human is equal 10 years in dog life cycle so multiply 10 by 13 I think you will get 130 meaning in dog life cycle that dog is 130 years old so dying now it's normal because the dog already nearing metusselah.

I can confidently say that the dog exhibited better behavior than you when she was alive.

No one talks about how dogs poops everywhere and anyhow uncontrollably. The first time i got a dog will be the last. They poop too much

He started aging year 2018. The skin fur gave it away.

Cats do that more. It's so rare to find the body of your beloved old cat. They leave when they're old, come back to spy sometimes, then disappear forever.
