Tory Wants Kemi Badenoch Removed As Party Leader Ahead Of Next General Election by malali(op): 11:57pm On Oct 15, 2025
Half of Tory members want Kemi Badenoch removed as party leader ahead of next general election

Half of all Conservative Party members do not want to see Kemi Badenoch leading the Tories into the next General Election, according to a bombshell new poll.

The poll by YouGov found 46 per cent think the current Tory leader should stay in place when the country next goes to the polls, while 50 per cent say she should not.

When asked who they would prefer as leader of the Conservative Party, 46 per cent of Tory members said they would rather have Shadow Justice Secretary, Robert Jenrick leading.

In another blow for Ms Badenoch, just under half of Tory members would support a full blown merger with Reform UK, against 48 per cent who would oppose a merger.

The poll finds 64 per cent support an electoral pact with Nigel Farage's party, meaning the two parties agree to not field candidates in seats where the other is more likely to win, while 31 per cent do not.

Meanwhile, 73 per cent would welcome a coalition with Reform UK in a hung parliament, with 25 per cent against, with two per cent unsure.

Polling for Sky News consisted of 652 Conservative members between September 26 and October 2.

It is only a POLL! Likely a manipulated poll at that. Polls also found Trump losing to Kamala by a wide margin. Polls and the Press in general tend to be quite liberal

The polls NEVER ''found Trump losing to Kamala by a wide margin.''

And NO. Just because you don't like the results of the polls doesn't mean they were ''manipulated''.

Well 4 points is a wide margin considering that Trump won in a landslide!

This is the UK not the US. Whether your analysis is correct or not about America, I still want to remind you that this is the UK.

UK polls are not like American polls. You are comparing party elections with general public. Her own party does not want her to represent them.
The tories do not want this eccentric woman. The writing is clear on the wall. I just wish she would return our Nigerian name "kemi" and adopt a more British name like Charlotte Badenoch, Olivia Badenoch or Sophie Badenoch

That was general elections polls Trump Versus Kamala

This is Kemi's party saying they don't even want her to represent the party.

Stop comparing apples and oranges.

Re: Tory Wants Kemi Badenoch Removed As Party Leader Ahead Of Next General Election by asolocoaso: 1:44am On Oct 16, 2025
Kemi will not lead the tories to elections......everyone knows that. They will either replace her with Shadow Justice Secretary, Robert Jenrick Or Merge with Reform UK and give the Ticket to Nigel Farage who is most likely the Next UK prime minister.

#Freepalestine exposed a lot of loyalty, The UK is not like America, they don't like being "owned" by fifth columnist.

So what? The liberal powers that be, like the BBC, don't want her, doesn't mean rank-and-file don’t want her.
She's just a politician playing politics, doesn't mean she does not love Nigeria and we are very proud of her achievements. See below

Oh, this one. I told you she's just a politician playing politics. Believe me, Nigeria is her heart.
She even considered moving back to Naija!
It's all politics. She just wants to be Prime Minister by any means.

That is a national poll and Amercian presidential elections are not won with a national popular vote. Trump won in a landslide with the electoral college, which is different (though he also slightly won the popular vote in the third time of trying).

Kemi will be gone soon, she was foolish not to learn from Sunak, burn all her bridges and think she could be more Catholic than the Pope!!

Once the Tories have a white leader, they will recover a lot of their support.

Grassroot Party members know this, which is why they have lost faith in her.

Burn what bridges? Do Nigerians vote in UK elections. She's doing what she needs to do to become PM and she just might succeed despite the huge odds against her. She's suspect as an immigrant whose heart might still be with Nigeria (which I have no doubt it is - never mind all the exaggerated distancing.) It's all politics - how do you convince Brits you love their land more than your own fatherland you grew up in?? Not easy at all, because it is not true!

Kemi Badenoch’s fall from grace may come faster than she expects. For all her noise and controversy, she isn’t as popular as she imagines. The excuse that “she’s doing what she needs to do” doesn’t sound like strategy, it sounds like desperation. Why not simply be herself and let the electorate decide? No one can pretend forever; it’s exhausting and soul-sapping to perform a persona that isn’t real. The truth is, she isn’t pretending , she’s just grown comfortable being caustic. And when she mocked Nigerians to score political points, she forgot that social media is borderless. Nigerians answered her in kind, and her own voters saw it. The whispers started: if even her own people don’t trust her, why should we? That quiet loss of moral credibility may prove the real reason her rise ends where it began.

I'd admit she went a bit too far - that's her mistake. But you KNOW nobody in a foreign country hates their fatherland that much - and the Brits know it too! Even persecuted German Jews or South Africans who left Germany/SA still had Germany/SA in their hearts as their fatherland

Kemi could have simply focused on improving the welfare of Britons, tightening legal migration, deporting illegal migrants, and upholding fairness, and she would have been perfectly fine. But instead, she overreached, taking every chance to denigrate Nigeria, even going so far as to attack the Vice President. It showed a startling lack of emotional maturity.

It’s like when your parents are fighting , and in a fit of anger, you call your father impotent. No matter how you try later, those words can never truly be taken back. That’s exactly what Kemi did.

For Nigerians to forgive her, it will take more than words. She would have to symbolically cleanse herself , to go and bathe in the Osun River at noon, escorted by children, to appease the gods of her ancestors in Yoruba land. Only then, perhaps, would her spirit find balance again.

Upon all the gragra and putting your own people under the bus. All for nothing aunty kemi . With the way Nigel farage is getting more popular with his crazy views . I don't think Kemi stands any chance. The tories need a more popular candidate.
