In the olden days the victims with hands on their heads will chase the car and shout Ole, Ole, Ole! And well wishers old and young will join the chase with the shout. Now everybody is looking the other way as if nothing happens.
And those that did not greet him since morning or even return his greetings but witnessed the whole action film unfolding will now greet him with heyaa, pele, sorry

Only the police can ensure he gets his car back.

Something similar happened in my area in Ilorin last week.
The thieves successfully collected a car from a woman..one of them was driving the stolen car away, okada riders were chasing him and shouting ole, ole, ole and the other thieves were driving behind in the car they came with. Unfortunately for them, the stolen car had security and stopped in front of a pharmacy; the thief driving the stolen car abandoned it to escape and the manager of the pharmacy who was almost at the gate grabbed him for the okada riders.. His gang member drove fast and shot the manager on the head; he died instantly, all the okada riders ran for their lives and they picked up their driver and escaped.

If you want to drive off, observe your environment first, then quickly enter and drive off.
If people are entering your car, let them all enter first before you and then you observe before entering and drive off immediately once you enter. And make sure no vehicle is close to you while entering your car. Then drive with speed while driving at night.
